"Such a lovely place to stay with a courtyard for off-road parking. The Italian owner helpfully spoke good English. He said he also spoke other languages as well. It is right on the edge of the lake and the front rooms have a view over the lake and the back rooms have a delightful view of the mountainside and over look a courtyard with typical Italian buildings. "Loved the waterfront property! Beautiful terrace for breakfast and dinner. Pool right on lakefront. Paddle-boarded right from hotel. Rooms were spacious and clean. 10 minutes walk along lake to park and downtown. "

"Outsanding and unique property. The views are stunning and breakfast is great. We were worried that it will be hot at night with no AC. It is higher up aka cooler at nights anyways so had no issues there (they have strong fans anyways). Super friendly staff and amazing ambience. Rustic and unique - definitely returning!"

"The resort’s landscaping is amazing, with beautiful lake view. We came to the area for Lake Como, and staying here provides a more peaceful vibe. There is limited wheelchair accessible area, but I believe the resort upgraded us to accommodate our needs. Don’t skip their breakfast with outdoor seating! The variety of food and the view are fantastic."

"Immaculate, spacious room, and comfortable bed. Strong, hot, shower. Decent air conditioning. The only oddity is lack of microwave, but you get an oven instead (and food reheated that way tastes better, anyway). If you like windows open, the road by the property is not quiet on weekday mornings, and there are no reliable spots to find food anywhere near the property. But that's kind of an Italy thing, anyway. Learn the bus system before you arrive -- it's state-of-the-art and your best bet in the hills. "
