"Gianni and his wife were lovely hosts in this quiet respite of a location near Lago Maggiore. We had a short stay but hope to return soon. The apartment is spacious and very clean. You have everything you need but a car is suggested for getting groceries or visiting the nearby villages."

"Außergewöhnliche Wohnung mit großartigem Garten und supernetten Gastgebern. Einzig die kleine Kochzeile ist nichts fuer Selbstversorger und die enge Hofeinfahrt eine fahrerische Herrausforderung..Aber, eh, wir sind in Italien, und da sollte man nicht so zimperlich sein. Zumal die nächste Bar und der öffentliche Parkplatz nicht weit sind. "

"Great apartment with everything you could need. Perfect for couples. The view over the lake is stunning. There is a woodland path that takes you into Stresa (takes 20-25 mins). We didn’t have a car and managed to get around but you could definitely explore more of the area with a car"

The apartment is on one floor of their beautiful, traditional stone building in the small village of Colma. "Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet (insbesondere die Küche). Der See ist in nächster Nähe und auch an Wandermöglichkeiten hapert es nicht. Die Gastgeberin war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und stand uns stets mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Die Wohnung liegt etwas versteckt zwischen anderen Häusern und ist etwas dunkel. Wer es kühl, ruhig und zurückgezogen mag ist hier genau richtig. Vielen Dank für die schöne und entspannte Zeit!"

"Une chouette semaine au calme en montagne. Nous aimons les lieux un peu atypique et loin de la foule. Ayant un métier entouré de personnes et de demandes constantes, j aime me retrouver dans des petits déserts humains. Ce petit chalet est situé en montagne au dessus de Biella en Italie. Pour y accéder, il faut une voiture SUV ou 4/4. La route qui mène à la maison est non goudronnée et cela prends 10 minutes pour arriver. Bien faite les courses avant car le premier supermarché est à Biela....

"When we stayed there the fire escape was blocked and various items were stored in the fire escape and the fire doors failed to close automatically. I brought this up to the attention of the facility and they corrected everything right away except the fire doors closing. Hopefully the fire doors automatically close now otherwise I would not recommend anyone stay at this hotel."
