"I’d like to write about this apartment, but can’t because, despite booking and paying for it 5 weeks in advance, the apartment was given to someone else. We didn’t meet the owner either who, when we phoned him, we were told he’d made an ‘error’, and that was the end of the conversation. Perhaps a mistake, but probably not, and the inconvenience of having to find other accommodation at 8.00 in the evening was unbelievable (Corte has real accommodation shortages). I don’t recommend anyone...

"At the Duc de Padoue, the team really cares about their customers’ well being. They go out of their way to help. This includes organizing transport - even beyond Corte. The hotel is walkable from the train station and central to all the sights. Restaurant recommendation was super. The room was renovated and spacious. The breakfast great. "What an extraordinary property. This beautiful and ancient stone house in the mountains is brimming with character. The rooms are beautiful and quirky in the very best of ways.
