"Five 60ish cycling fans visiting for the Tour De France. Excellent property in a beautiful area especially if you are interested in cycling / hiking. Only down side is the opening days and times of local restaurants which caught us out a bit but the house is very well equipped and as we are all keen cooks then this wasn't a problem for us but may be for some. Not that much to do for kids. All in all an excellent trip and I would highly recommend the property for a similar group of people."

"L'accueil a été chaleureux. Ils sont bienveillants, disponibles. Petites attentions à l'arrivée dans le logement. Le logement est propre et très fonctionnel.. L'environnement est calme, agréable et joli. Présence d'une marre avec des animaux. Vous avez à votre disposition un petit jardin. Les hôtes ont un chien très gentil qui aime les caresses. Nous avons passés un très agréable séjour. Je recommande.. . "

"The interior of the apartment is as described and shown in photos. However, for our stay the pool was not open, the tennis court over grown, and the grass up to knee height. This had the effect of reducing the usable area of the 2.8 hectare property to the driveway and the apartment which was very disappointing to our group and difficult with small children. Een huis met 2 slaapkamers, woonkamer met open keuken en badkamer met bad waar je alleen in kunt zitten en een ruimte met een slaapkamer met 3 bedden en een badkamer. Helaas was ons huis bij aankomst (16.30) nog niet klaar en ook niet echt goed schoon. Het zwembad is een paar honderd meter lopen. Let op, voor bedlinnen en handdoeken moet je betalen. Dit staat niet goed op de site. "

We loved getting fresh croissants from the bakery in the morning, and sitting on the terrace as the sun set after a busy day sightseeing in the surrounding towns and countryside. "We spent a wonderful week here this summer with our two young children. The location of the cabin is excellent, with a descent super market in the village, petrol station, golf club and a few bars. There are many beautiful villages within 20 minutes drive with restaurants and bars. 10 mins drive is a lovely lake which we swam in as well as hired a kayak, perfect when the temperature was 30 degrees! Also there’s a climbing/forest activity which we spent the whole day at less than 10 minutes away...

"The property was exactly as described and very comfortable Francoise and Benoit could not have been kinder or more accommodating and we had a wonderful 5 days. It is close to everything one wants to see, all in the most bucolic and beautiful countryside.An additional benefit is "la Pause Rabutin" on the corner, which is a delightful cafe. The property itself is a stone's throw away from chateau Rabutin, well worth a visit. I would be happy to return here at any time!"

Excellent Property in a beautiful region of France

"We wanted for nothing in this property, everything was provided. It was in a huge, secluded garden, but the property was separate, and a long way from the main house, so we didn't feel enclosed in any way. We sat/ate outside a lot of the time, and felt that we were a long way from the main house. Samur-en-Auxois was everything we thought it was, and François Meunieur was extremely helpful. 10/10!"
