"Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Iouri et sa compagne ( même si celle-ci n'était pas présente durant notre séjour). Les chambres étaient agréables et les lits étaient confortables. "Loved the peace and tranquility of the area after a busy day at Disneyland or Paris. A bit far from supermarkets but doable. Pool a bit cold for kids but they enjoyed it nevertheless. Only shame is it rained whole week except day of arrival when we got to enjoy the bbq. "

The renovation of the guest house is well done and tasteful. The wood burning fireplace was a delight in the chilly weather to celebrate an early Canadian-style Christmas. The kitchen had basic equipment. A few more baking dishes as well as a basic stock of dry goods (salt, pepper, oil, vinegar etc) would have elevated the experience."

"Agnes the owner is very nice. The surrounding countryside is beautiful, be sure to check out the Church in a field of sunflowers about 4 miles away. Train to Paris is easy and about an hours ride. You will need a car to get around though in general including to the station."

"The hotel is quaint and historical - but also modern, warm and welcoming. It is perfectly located in the middle of a beautiful French town/village steeped in history. But above all the staff make you feel like you are home - the manager Clara is exceptionally gifted at making you feel welcome. I travel frequently and I have to say, the customer service at this property is five star across the board. I highly recommend this property."

"It’s only 3-minute walk to the palace and close to restaurants and supermarket and fruit store. The only concern is the ventilation of the room and I saw mold buildups on the tiles of the shower room. The staff immediately cleaned it after I bring out this problem."

"Reception closed with poor signage to the nearby Campanile reception. Lack of sleep due to neighbouring rooms partying all night. Man those mattresses need some oiling after all that squeaking. Definitely not sound proofed rooms"

"This property appeared to be decent however it was extremely loud due to the nature of access to the room via the outside corridor. People must pass by your window to get to their room and leaves very little privacy and is very loud. The room was renovated however it was very hot and air conditioning was turned off for the winter and the only window looked onto the corridor balcony therefore not very good for noise or safety. As I went to bed a cockroach scurried up the headboard which was the worst! My husband managed to kill it. The non smoking room had a terrible smell of smoke as it must have been used by smokers. It permeated fabric and carpet therefore you could not air the room out and get rid of the smell. Overall not a place I would return to considering the price. "
