"Very spacious room with a little balcony overlooking the Main Street, which is full of restaurants, bars and shops. With the windows closed we couldn’t hear a sound so that was great at night. The room was very spacious but did not have a fridge nor an iron. Great location and a very secure set up. Staff were friendly enough and check in/out went smoothly. "This place is a perfect base to explore Reims . We parked in the car park upstairs , outside for free ( there is underground parking on site too ) The room was nice , overlooking the river .. from the hotel it’s walkable to the Cathedral quarter ( 10/12mins stroll ) and there’s a wealth of restaurant choices and bars there . This seemed a very walkable and safe city and the Mercure is a nice easy , cost effective hotel to use as a base for a visit . "
