Quietly nestled on the river banks close to the picturesque town of Vipava this is the ideal choice for outdoor enthusiasts and wine connoisseurs. The surrounding area is known as the ‘Tuscany of Slovenia’ due to its thriving wine culture and regional produce.

The retreat is arranged over two floors and enjoys a generous open plan living space that incorporates a well-equipped kitchen fitted with; a Dolcegusto coffee machine, a cooker hob, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher and a fridge freezer. Guests can enjoy family meals at the dining table and relax on the comfortable sofa, there’s also a Smart, flatscreen HDTV and a games library. This area is connected through sliding glass doors to a pretty terrace; the perfect alfresco extension to unwind after a busy day and enjoy views of the surrounding countryside.

Visitors will also find a BBQ, a dedicated outdoor dining space with a fire pit, an inflatable jacuzzi and a Kids playhouse.

The property is located in the outskirts of Vipava in the heart of the Vipava Valley in western Slovenia, near the Italian border. Known for its picturesque landscape, historical significance and thriving wine culture the charming town of Vipava is the ideal destination for nature lovers, history buffs and culinary enthusiasts.

There are several wineries nearby including Petrič winery which is an 8-minute drive away. There are two supermarkets approximately a 5-minute walk away and several restaurants that are less than a 10-minute walk from the accommodation.

The Vipava Valley is surrounded by the Trnovo Forest Plateau (a 40-minute drive) and Nanos Plateau (a 25minute drive or a 1 hour 30-minute hike), both offering incredible views and excellent hiking, cycling, climbing and paragliding opportunities. There’s also a natural swimming pool just outside Podraga which is less than a 10-minute drive away. Beach lovers can head to Mesečev Zaliv (Moon Bay) or Sistiana Beach (in Italy) which are both approximately a 45-minute drive from the property.

The closest international airport is Trieste Airport (TRS) in Italy, approximately a 40-minute drive whilst Ljubljana Jože Pučnik Airport (LJU) in Slovenia is approximately a one-hour drive away.
