The shower leaked, the toilet paper holder was broken, the ac duct was on the balcony so it blows hot air in your face and it's really loud. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

Excellent Customer Service
First of all, the staff at this hotel is absolutely excellent. The kindest staff that I have ever encountered at a hotel. The hotel is an older property and parking is an issue. That being said, front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, were all stellar. We were blessed to not have to use the free valet parking since we always found a parking space in front of the hotel. Room - clean, had plenty of towels, a/c is noisy (older property) but overall the room met our needs. Also, great ocean view. Free Breakfast - lots of options including make your own waffles. Staff here were great too. Location - perfect, right on the boardwalk. Overall, a very good stay.

Hopefully, next time it will be better
Immediately we had problems with the air conditioner. I reported it in the morning. Someone changed the filter. It got cooler but not cool enough. I received a phone call from Manager Chris. I was told that he was going to call Expedia to give me a discount. I was also supposed to get some towels and some stuff from the market. I never received anything and I had to let Chris know the next morning. He apologized and said that he would contact Expedia and would have engineering come and check the air conditioner. It still was never resolved. I called today after my check out, to leave Chris a message so that he doesn't forget to keep his end of the deal. Other than the air conditioning, the hotel and the location was great!

Good facilities but limited parking
The facilities were really good. Friendly staff, clean room and loved the closeness to the beach. My only complaint is there was very limited parking and I did noy like just handing my keys over to just anyone to drive my car and have access to it.

Hotel was great and had beautiful views. Simply walk out the back door and you’re at the beach. Breakfast was good and had different options to choose from. I was a little nervous about the parking situation, but the valet was quick and easy.

It was nice that it was pet friendly and our room had a full kitchen.The parking was small so you had to rely on valet to drive your vehicle three blocks away. The breakfast was very bland and they did not have ketchup for any of the days when they could’ve went to the store and just bought some.

The hotel was pretty good, with easy access to the beach. The room was clean and comfortable. Some things that were not up to Marriott standards though. For example, one light bulb in our room was burnt, our sink was clogged. Breakfast area would run out of things like coffee or ketchup, and refills wouldn’t be ready. While all of these issues in themselves were minor, their cumulative effect created an impression that this property was good but not great.

The location is excellent and the 1 room suites make for a nice extended stay. The included breakfast could be better with more fruit and healthier choices. The staff are friendly and the hotel is clean.
