The house sits down the road from the pond and is only a short drive to the slopes. We enjoyed a beautiful snow day with family and friends. The kids favorite time was sledding down the snow covered street. We’ll definitely be back next year for our family weekend. "

"If you are looking for a rustic, off grid, romantic mountain getaway- this is the rental for you. There is no Wi-Fi, and we did not have cell phone service- so do your research about the area before you arrive. The hosts did have a guest book with a plethora of information about the area and attractions. The drive to the cabin is not for the feint of heart, but it was secluded and private with stunning views. Just a short drive to town for groceries and about 30 minutes to Shenandoah National...

"Our family loved our weekend getaway in this home. It’s about 2 miles down a partially paved road, so you really feel like you’re away from everything, but you’re also close enough to attractions, restaurants, and shops for anything you want or need. The house is amazingly well-kept and well stocked. We hope to stay there again!"

Matt & Katie have the house set up nicely with good sleeping beds & plenty of toys & activities downstairs in the playroom for the kids to do. The TV in the downstairs room was a great asset for the family to hang out together & watch a movie. Matt was quick to reply to any of our needs & we would recommend their home for your mountain visit for sure! "

"The cabin is exactly as pictured- it is beautiful, spacious yet cozy, and very clean. The host was attentive and pleasant. Three generations were in the house and all were very pleased. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"

"This house was wonderful! It had everything you needed for your stay, to include, paper towels, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, kitchen tools, family games, etc. Literally, all you need to bring are food and clothing. If you're traveling with a multi-generational group, this is the house for you. My husband and mom loved the shuffle board and connect four game Just book it!"

"We had a wonderful time at the Harvest Moon. Good location for a mountain getaway. The house is decorated nicely and is cozy. Basement is a plus with the pool table, air hockey and hot tub. The owners were easy to reach and answered all my questions in a timely manner. I hope to go again one day!"
