Lovely apartment with sea view

I had a lovely stay. Adriana, the host, was friendly and helpful, she met me when I arrived and showed me round. I didn't spend much time in the apartment as I was in Vis for work, but it was neat and clean, and provided everything I needed (the balcony with sea view was a bonus). The apartment is in a great location in the pretty, quiet village of Rukavac, 5 mins walk from restaurants, the harbour, and a pebble beach.

Enkel og grei leilighet, men uten air condition. Velfungerende wifi. Bor man i Rukavac er man imidlertid helt avhengig av bil/moped, siden det ikke er noe supermarked i nærheten. Svært serviceinnstilt vertinne.

Host was MIA; apartment locked up

We learned from a neighbor host was out of the country. Hotels.com still took our money despite our having to find another room on the fly without speaking the language. We emailed hotels.com twice to reconcile situation & stop payment but they instead requested a review.

Great apartment, fab location off the beaten track

Consuelo is absolutely great, she came to pick us up from our ferry for a nominal fee and she treated us like family. Very open, friendly and helpful. we had the two appartments to ourselves which was great. kitchen facilities and balcony/outside area were good too (washing machine and coffee machine available too). Excellent value for money. PS bread man comes to deliver daily fresh bread and bakery products at the end of the road between 8-9am every morning :-). PPS stargazing is phenomenal

Wonderful place!

I highly recommend this place! The owner was truly welcoming and made sure everything was just perfect. She was extremely helpfull, she took us to town to get the scooter we wished to rent and patiently responded to our many questions and even did our laundry. The apartment was spotless and spacious and the balcony was a perfect breakfast place. The location in this idyllic small village is ideal if you have a car or a scooter as there are also many beatiful beaches and lovely restaurants just a few minutes drive away. The best restaurant was by the sea in the village itself. Merci beacoup:)
