Great staff with great attitude. Probably the worst view I have ever had in a hotel room. Things that didn't work were quickly fixed. Clean, efficient, but nothing special. The 'Panorama' restaurant in the 4-star building felt more like a converted banquet room or a small college dining room. Uninspiring, though the rest of the 4-start property (where we did our check-in and check-out) was attractive. I don't stay much in resort hotels, so I am not be the best judge. I couldn't really fault anything (hence the rating), it was just a bit ho-hum facilities with friendly staff.
Love the panoramic view from the roof terrace!
However, I was quite disappointed to have been turned away for dinner as the roof top restaurant was fully booked on the evening of my 1-day stay...
Very relaxing stay in modern, comfortable Hotel. There is a small cove and beach just at the back of the hotel and a marine walk which takes you close to other restaurants and bars and close to the Feve station at Covas.
Having stayed at the hotel in early September I was happy to return. However the hotel seemed to be understaffed and whist I understand that fewer guests need less staff however this seems to be at the cost of quality of service.Restaurant and main bar was open only at weekends. It also appeared that the Menu had been changed to suit lack of staff. Swimming pool was shut. Will return but not in the off season. A shame as I rated this hotel with 5 after my first visit.
We originally booked the best western, but were upgraded to the spa next door. Great rooftop restaurant and bar. Slight walk into town. Good parking on site.
The hotel opened in Summer2011 and is very modern, with lovely views over the coast. There are also apartments adjacent. The info on the hotel.com site seems out of date and gives no info on the hotel, which must surely be 4star not 3 as listed. It is a resort hotel with many facilities. Car parking could be a problem,as there is not enough for all the rooms and apartments.
Amazing. Stellar. Better if you have a rental car.
I guess it would be a bit of a walk to the restaurants, but if you have a rental car or are willing to take a taxi, this IS the place you want to stay. I showed up expecting to stay at the Best Western, but it was closed for renovations, I guess, or because it was off-season. Rooms are really spacious and its worth it to get a sea-view. Super-modern and the nicest staff I met in Spain after a month traveling around.
I LOVED my stay there.
we only had an overnight stay but it was delightful. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were spotless and had all the amenities we would want. The food in the restaurant was excellent but lacked atmosphere as we were the only clients. I would not hesitate to use he hotel again.
