"We drove down to Ljubljana from the UK in August 2024 while enroute to Croatia and opted to stay here for 2 days as it had free parking, wasn't far from the city centre and other attractions. Parking onsite can get competitive at times, but we would eventually find a space. "The room was nice and clean; the owner seemed a little put out at first because Expedia had overbooked us and she didn’t seem to happy. When we asked her about coffee in the morning she looked at us like we’d lost our mind! It all turned out fine and she had coffee for us in the morning for a small charge. The hotel is beautiful and I wonder what the spa services would be like. We weren’t given any options to utilize them."

"As part of a European road trip, we booked these apartments for a two night stay but now wish we had booked to stay for longer. The apartments are very modern, with nice decor and have everything that you need, Outside there is a large bbq area and fire pit. "We enjoyed our time in Ljubljana and Meksiko Hotel was great. Correspondence was good and late check-in instructions were simple. It was easy to walk to the main train and bus stations and close to Old Town. It is an hour away from Bled and the bus was only a few euros for a return ticket. The hotel itself was very clean and our room was comfortable. There was no noise from outside. All staff were friendly. Our room did not have a kettle but there is a vending machine downstairs with coffee and snacks at low prices. There is a Hofer/ALDI right next door. We enjoyed the breakfast and it was great to start the day with a full tummy! We definitely recommend Meksiko Hotel."

"This hotel was absolutely wonderful. The location was perfect - located almost directly on the canal, minutes walk from the castle and the bridges. We were so impressed by the helpfulness of the staff. The breakfast was great, even though options for vegans were limited. One of the staff did offer us additional avocado or asked if there was anything else we’d like. I just thought that was really thoughtful. The coffee was beautiful. Our room was perfect for us- the bathroom lovely and the bed really comfy. We honestly could not have asked for a better hotel and am so glad we chose to stay here."
