"Es war ein wunderbarer, ruhiger und entschleunigender Aufenthalt direkt am Waldrand über Silvester mit meinem Hund. Es gab ein paar vereinzelte Böller im Laufe des Silvesterabends. Um Mitternacht war ein wenig mehr los, was aber nach etwa 30 bis 45 Minuten vorbei war. Das Haus ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtetund mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Ein weiteres Highlight für mich war der Kamin und natürlich der phänomenale Ausblick vom Balkon. "

"Das Chalet ist schön aufgeteilt, Ess-, Wohn- und Schlafbereich. Die Einrichtung ist auf alt-romantisch getrimmt jedoch mit neuen Möbeln versehen. Alles hat einwandfrei funktioniert und war sauber. Jedoch das Internet könnte ein kleines Upgrade vertragen. Einziges Manko ist die Lage an der Hauptstraße. Diese ist etwas laut bei geöffneten Fenstern, besonders an Wochentagen. Der Vermieter war auskunftsfreudig, hilfsbereit und wollte das man sich wohl fühlt."

"Das Ferienhaus eignet sich gut, für Familien oder mit Freunden., da zwei Bäder und Toiletten vorhanden sind. Mit der Verteilung der Schlafplätze sollte man sich im Voraus auseinandersetzen, wenn das Haus voll belegt wird. Ansonsten war alles vorhanden was man für ein Ferienhaus benötigt. Die Aussicht ins Tal ist sehr schön. Leider gab es einige Defekte im Haus. In zwei Zimmern waren die Fensterscheiben beschädigt, so das man die Fenster nur mit Vorsicht öffnen konnte. Ich hoffe die Vermieterin...

"Wir waren in den Herbstferien mit unseren Kindern (8+11) in dieser Ferienwohnung und waren komplett begeistert. Super schön und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet.Ein toller Mix aus Alt und Modern. Sehr sauber und in der funktionalen Küche fehlt es an nichts. Kaffee-Pad Maschine mit Pads sind ebenso vorhanden wie Wasserkocher und Toaster.Sehr gern kommen wir wieder und empfehlen diese von Herzen gerne weiter."

Schloss Weissenburg - misleading pictures

"I chose this hotel due to its idyllic look & since I was traveling with 4 colleagues, they all booked here too. On arrival, found out you don’t stay in the schloss, rather a very unattractive side building, freezing cold, tiny room. The restaurant was closed, another reason I had chosen this hotel was because it had a restaurant, nobody told us it would be closed. Very poor. The service was friendly at breakfast & that’s my reason for ranking this at okay. The lady was lovely & made our start to each day a pleasant one ."

"Friendly, helpful staff, comfortable lodging in a central location. Small water bottle in room at arrival would have been nice, but local mints in bathroom and Christmas chocolate on pillow were very thoughtful. Would also have liked to see homemade jam instead of high glucose factory stuff as an extra touch at breakfast. Blackout curtains worked and bathroom was modern and spacious. Would definitely stay again. "
