"If you're looking for a place that's quiet and off the beaten path this is it! Set in the beautiful country side, the scenery and gorgeous views itself will calm even the most turbulent mind! My family and I (3 total- English speakers only-which was fine most staff was able to communicate) stayed only one night, but it was wonderful. The place is a bit rustic, but in good condition. "The whole family loved our spacious and well equipped apartment in a beautiful setting with far reaching views. The generous welcome box of essentials was a lovely surprise, as was the delicious bottle of wine. Enjoyed al fresco dining in our own garden area and the kiddies play equipment was much appreciated - as was the fabulous swimming pool. "Easy check in, beautiful location in the center of vineyards, 5 mins drive to center of Castagneto Carducci and 10 mins from marina/beach. It’s off season so beach area was mostly closed. Super clean and quiet location, off the beaten path. Excellent, hospitable staff, especially during breakfast. Highly recommended!"

"A beautiful old castle that has been completely refurbished/modernized on the inside, sitting on a beautiful property with nearby forests, vineyards, and olive groves. After the hustle and bustle of Rome and Florence, the serenity here was perfection. We stayed in the 'deluxe double room' which was absolutely fantastic. We arranged a vespa rental and rode through the countryside to the nearby Castellina in Chianti and cute hilltop town and took a wonderful cooking class at Taverna...

"Great property! LOVED the setting, in the middle of fields and countryside. You definitely need a car but it’s a very convenient drive to Florence and the rest of Tuscany. The property is beautiful, and the staff very friendly. The accommodations are in an old building so it comes with the quirkiness of it like noisy plumbing lol. We really enjoyed our stay. "

"Beautiful property in the heart of Tuscany. We would have added a second night, but the property booked full while we were sleeping. Property was only recently added to Expedia, so don't let the low number of reviews make you nervous. We almost did. Glad we double checked another site and saw hundreds of happy reviews. Enjoy!"

"At the end of a typically long gravel Tuscany road (this one is in good condition, btw) you will find a quiet, snug cottage in a great location for touring around Tuscany. Laundry availability was much appreciated on our multi-stop trip, they even had an iron for air dried or suitcase wrinkled items. The views… like a postcard! "
