"Nous avons passés un excellent dans une maison plein de charmes... et une hote très discrète... nous avons eu l agreable surprise etre accueilli par ruby et remy pour le plus grand plaisir de nos enfants.... nous recommandons ce gites pour des week-ends en famille ou pour découvrir la region. "This is the quietest holiday on record for us and we always look for quiet locations. The house is a charm and François and Claudine made for the most hospitable hosts. The Vendée has so much to offer and we loved the safe cycling on flat roads using the bikes that came with the property. Owner requested 100 euro’s for 7 days use of hot tub. Externally on arrival the grass was not cut, pool had not been cleaned and Wi-Fi was inoperable. Pool was cleaned on arrival, Wi-Fi was repaired following day. Grass was not cut. The owners dog used the long grass at the end of the pool to do it’s business. We will not return to this...

"This was our second holiday this year at the mill and we will keep returning. Everything you need for a holiday has been thought of, beautiful mill and extensive gardens. Can highly recommend using the patio at the side of the property for meals, very relaxing with views across the river/land. You have access to use herbs/tomatoes etc from the garden which is such a lovely idea. Clean, roomey and quiet.

"Great location & parking. Rooms are clean spacious and quiet. Wifi good. Breakfast is good, evening food is limited but there are loads of restaurants nearby. The hotel is pricey, but still cheap compared to Parisien or coastal prices. "
