"Great location by the river, cafes, cathedral and 33km cycle route. The hotel was shabby in the hallway with bags of dirty linen left all day and overnight. The lifts strongly smelt of cheap deodorant. But, once in the room it was like a different hotel. Light, spacious, great view of the cathedral and river. Excellent kitchenette which is a bonus, nice bathroom and lots of little reminders to be eco friendly. We'd highly recommend if you're happy to walk through the neglected entrance and...

"The good points are; very good patisserie next door plus a good supermarket 2 minutes walk. Location, easy walk to the town centre. Very peaceful and secure location as it is a private gated estate. Bad points; the whole house needs a complete makeover, everything is old and scruffy.
