"first room of subpar and shower only ran hot water which made it impossible to take a shower but was transferred and upgraded to a better quality room. this is definitely a 3-star property not a 4-star or 5-star property. The gym, if you can even call it that, was nothing more than a home bicycle and a home treadmill with just a few dumbells & 1 lower back machine. Breakfast was ok. Made mysrlf some nice omletts. "We stayed for a couple nights because we were taking a tour (with Oxalis, which was amazing) to see the Phong Nha caves. Even with the short amount of time spent at this hotel it was tremendously terrible. Most important point: we had no hot water! Staff told us to switch a plug up and wait 15 mins, which was already ridiculous, after waiting we still had to shower in the cold. If you are looking for a place to eat, there is nothing remotely close by. The wifi was nonexistent. No point trying to...

"This is a great little hotel in a great little walking city. I call it walking because it you can walk around the immediate area surrounding the hotel (and then some) and small quiet streets are one little eatery or coffee shop after another. You don’t have to constantly look over your shoulder for motorbikes it’s so quiet here. The hotel was quiet as well with an occasional obnoxious car honking which is unfortunately rampant throughout the country. The staff here is friendly and helpful especially the day shift front desk manager. Breakfast was generous and a steal at 50,000 Dong ($2.00 US). I had two bags of laundry done at 100000 Dong ($4.00 US) Exceptional deal. Great location-Great Staff-Great hotel. Highly recommend. "
