"Booked this for a relaxing break near beach with our 15 month child. Apartment was great and just what we wanted. We went for 1 bed room cot was provided for little one(check about them charging you for this - they waive it for us but otherwise 30€ a week). Lounge/kitchen area was large with sofa of 2 single beds (whole place could accommodate 4 adults). Shower room good with spacious proportions and clean. Kitchen was 4 ring gas hobo and elec oven and large fridge/freezer, many pots and pans...

"The villa was beautiful and very clean , the host Daniela was kind and sweet, showed us the best places to go for good food also surprised us with a home made eggplant parmigiana and a bowl of fresh fruits. I would recommend this villa to anyone who wants to have quiet but at the same time be close to the beach and restaurants."

"On a positive note the house is very spacious, the rooms are large and the views from the property are lovely. However, we didn't find it toddler-friendly, there are lots of steps outside and places to fall down, there isn't a high chair provided which made life difficult at mealtimes and there are lots of breakable items at a low level in the house, overall I wouldn't recommend it for very small children. The wifi is really poor, most of our devices and phones couldn't pick it up and when they...

The breakfasts were very good and made from local produce, with Manuella giving a detailed explanation of the produce. Room was very clean and a brilliant view from the patio where we had breakfast. "Vi holdte 12 dages sommerferie på stedet i july/august. Stedet er meget lokalt og med mange Italienere, og hvis man har små børn med, skal man være klar over, at alt såsom underholdning foregår på Italiensk. Ellers er stedet hyggeligt, og personalet er imødekommende og meget hjælpsomme. Pool og stranden er også i top, og det eneste lille minus må være støjen fra vejen/ togbanen, men det vender man sig til. Kan anbefales herfra! Og igen en ekstra stjerne til personalet."

"We were very impressed with Villa Fontanelle - a true "villa" level experience! Facilities were even better than advertised, with air conditioning now available on both floors. Martina welcomed us and took care of our wishes in a quick and exemplary manner, fully utilizing WhatsApp for easy-to-use guidance and links. The pool was great and we had it 100% for ourselves. Not cheap, but definitely worth the money!"

"Bright, and clean with large rooms. Solid breakfast and early, a decent dinner menu but the service was excellent. Pool is not heated, probably best for summer as we found it cold. Just up the hill from Lipari which was nice for ocean views while dining, and quietness. "

Charming Island Stay

"Charming hotel on an island hillside with spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea. The morning buffet breakfast was all homemade with a combination of delicious eggs, smoked meats, grilled vegetables, pastries and cakes. The staff were welcoming, kind and helpful. Ben spoke four languages and made all the arrangements we needed for excursions and scooter rentals. He literally puts his whole heart into his job. We would definitely recommend staying here. On top of it, Lipari has beautiful panoramas and a castle spanning 3 different civilizations. So interesting and diverse! "

Perfect comfort

"We booked a stay in the junior suite (with jacuzzi), planning to stay in Milazzo for only two nights. But we loved the easy access to a clean beach, the super comfy canopy bed, the well functioning AC, the pleasant staff and good breakfast mix of sweet and savory (tilting in typical Italian fashion to the sweet). On the second day, we realized just how relaxed we felt at this hotel, so we decided to stay an extra two nights! It was well worth it. I came back from Italy feeling totally relaxed and restored."
