"Booked this for a relaxing break near beach with our 15 month child. Apartment was great and just what we wanted. We went for 1 bed room cot was provided for little one(check about them charging you for this - they waive it for us but otherwise 30€ a week). Lounge/kitchen area was large with sofa of 2 single beds (whole place could accommodate 4 adults). Shower room good with spacious proportions and clean. Kitchen was 4 ring gas hobo and elec oven and large fridge/freezer, many pots and pans...

"On a positive note the house is very spacious, the rooms are large and the views from the property are lovely. However, we didn't find it toddler-friendly, there are lots of steps outside and places to fall down, there isn't a high chair provided which made life difficult at mealtimes and there are lots of breakable items at a low level in the house, overall I wouldn't recommend it for very small children. "An amazing stay at this wonderful B & B. Manuella was a great host explaining the best places to visit on Salina. The breakfasts were very good and made from local produce, with Manuella giving a detailed explanation of the produce. Room was very clean and a brilliant view from the patio where we had breakfast. "Vi holdte 12 dages sommerferie på stedet i july/august. Stedet er meget lokalt og med mange Italienere, og hvis man har små børn med, skal man være klar over, at alt såsom underholdning foregår på Italiensk. Ellers er stedet hyggeligt, og personalet er imødekommende og meget hjælpsomme. Pool og stranden er også i top, og det eneste lille minus må være støjen fra vejen/ togbanen, men det vender man sig til. Kan anbefales herfra! Og igen en ekstra stjerne til personalet."

"Bright, and clean with large rooms. Solid breakfast and early, a decent dinner menu but the service was excellent. Pool is not heated, probably best for summer as we found it cold. Just up the hill from Lipari which was nice for ocean views while dining, and quietness. "

Charming Island Stay

"Charming hotel on an island hillside with spectacular views of the Mediterranean Sea. The morning buffet breakfast was all homemade with a combination of delicious eggs, smoked meats, grilled vegetables, pastries and cakes. The staff were welcoming, kind and helpful. Ben spoke four languages and made all the arrangements we needed for excursions and scooter rentals. He literally puts his whole heart into his job. We would definitely recommend staying here. On top of it, Lipari has beautiful panoramas and a castle spanning 3 different civilizations. So interesting and diverse! "

Love on first sight

"Loved it so much we already plan to come back. Everyone so friendly and kind and helpful, best service with smile and always happy to help. The grounds are perfect, with space to chill and direct access to the beach with thermal water. Breakfast delicious, room very nice with sea view. A bit noisy from the port but we did not mind it. It was so beautiful to watch the vulcano above us. Eros made us to fall in love with this place."

"This was a very good hotel with a lovely swimming pool and the added bonus of a jacuzzi. Cleanliness was excellent with rooms being serviced daily to a high standard. Breakfast was good and all staff friendly and welcoming. The complimentary shuttle bus to the port was a nice extra."

"We had a 14 night stay. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. Carmelo is very knowledgeable and very welcoming. Tina the cleaning lady bends over backwards to make sure you are comfortable and that your room is clean, refreshed, well stocked with fresh towels, linens, etc. All staff are great . Breakfast is included alrhough if your looking to start your day off with proteins, you will be disappointed. Breakfast consits of croissants in assorted varieties, cakes, cookies, there is sliced bread and a toaster, assortment of jams, and spreads, fruit is limited, there are hard boiled eggs, the coffee is very dissapointing as its not freshly brewed but through a machine that uses k-cups ..the breakfast was the same day in day out. The orher thing is the hotel does not have assigned or designated parking for their guests. So we arrive back at the end of your day you might find yourself driving around the block a few times before you land a parking spot close to the hotels entrance. The door to the hotel is at times a challenge to unlock..not an easy task. There are also 4 flights of stairs to do to get to your room. The hotel is in a great location, many gelaterias, bars, amenities close by. The hotel always smelled lovely, and fresh, having AC was a blessing. Overall we had a pleasant and comfortable stay. Would recommend Hotel Marconi."
