We absolutely loved our stay at The Secret. We travelled with a 1.5 year old, parents and grandma. Everyone enjoyed. The rooms were great, clean and very comfortable. Food was great and service was exceptional. Con Dao was very interesting and relaxing to visit and the location of the hotel, close to the beach (we had the beach to ourselves because very few Vietnamese visitors would go to the beach during the day!) and short walk to many great cafés and restaurants in town. Looking forward to staying again!

We had a great time thanks to a staff member named Anh who helped us to book taxis and find the best beaches. The beach outside the hotel is also very nice, and the Con Son prison museum is right next door.

Almost perfect!!

Overall we had a great time and the island is great! I felt that for the price the hotel could be a little better and the service more attentive. I had trouble getting drinks service by the pool at times, and on a couple of nights the rooftop bar closed earlier than advertised and the when we returned from the markets we couldn’t get a drink.

Rooms were clean but it would have been nice to have be able to control the air conditioning from your room without having to contact the staff to contact the Engineers. The main bedroom was great but the bathroom layout was a bit odd. This is just me, but I found the single sliding door for the shower & toilet a little odd. Otherwise, the room was very nice.

The rooms and property were beautifully kept and maintained, staff are courteous and helpful, and ammenities (ie. pool & gym) were clean and modern. All menu items and drinks were delicious, and there was a great variety to choose from.
