Easy check-in, nice and clean, comfy beds, animals everywhere, great fire pit, nice pool for a quick dip, and rent the mule! It’s worth it! The fishing was great too! We caught several large mouth bass and got in some good laughs with nearby horses farting it up. We loved everything! I want to come back with my siblings and their kids."

"We wanted to get away from Houston for the weekend to relax and this was perfect! The trailer had absolutely everything you could need which made cooking a breeze. The owners were next door and extremely responsive. We had a wonderful time fishing down at the river and flying kites with the kids. Our city dogs loved being able to roam the property. The only improvement we could think of was having an awning off the trailer or shelter over one of the picnic tables to get out of the sun. "

"The house was just as described on VRBO. We were welcomed with a basket of snacks and a nice card from the Host. She was very responsive to our questions and requests. The family and I enjoyed the game room, particularly the pool table and arcade games. We also loved relaxing in the hot tub and gazing at the stars. We would definitely book again. "

"We had a great time! We made use of the fire pit by the main house at night and caught and released over a dozen fish from the pond in one morning! We had 4 couples so we split up between the main house, the cabin and the guest house. Everyone could retire to their own place, it was great! The host (Sheryl) was very communicative and helpful. We definitely would stay here again."

"The structure was fine--cute and thoughtful, but the floor was littered with hundreds of small millipedes oddly enough. Nothin too crazy. We swept the whole place and carried on. It was clear that no one had given the place any attention in a while. There were cobwebs and dead bugs all around the corners of the ceiling. None of this was enough to upset me, but the following made me feel strongly that I deserved some kind of price break or rebate:ZERO communication from host.Key lock box not set...

"This is a beautiful home in a secluded location. Pool and hot tub are great amenities! Closing to golf course, state park for hiking and historic Bastrop and Smithville. We hope to return soon!"

"My husband and I enjoyed a long weekend in Bastrop area. At the cozy guest house we enjoyed being just outside of town right by the River. At night we could see so many stars! We also brought our cat who enjoyed being with us as well. Lots to explore in the area and parking was never a problem. Thank you for a nice get away. "

"This was a very clean property with friendly staff. My favorite thing is they use the proper led lights. Low wattage to save money but using the ones with the light on the bluer scale instead of orange so you can actually see the room and how clean it was. "Luling, Texas is very small, but a very cute city. It’s right off the highway and across the street from Buc-ee’s and Luling Lavender Fields. Our room was clean, the staff was helpful when we asked for things (twice), and my son had fun in the pool. We’d stay again if ever in Luling!!!"

"My wife and I stayed two nights and it was very comfortable. The AC worked well, the room was well equipped and not one bug, alive or dead. The front door locked solidly and was sealed well. The staff was friendly and overall for $80 a night I think it was a great value!"
