Rustic chalet in a quiet and alpine surroundings, sauna and panoramic views of the mountainous surroundings, ideal starting point for long walks

The chalet is quiet about ten minutes' walk to the town center in a green oasis.

The picturesque, detached chalet with rustic decor is about 130 square meters and can accommodate 9 people. On the ground floor is the living area where in addition to a fireplace and comfortable seating as well as two dining areas and a highchair are available.
Extensive consumer electronics, which is integrated discreetly and yet is up to date, including an LCD TV (Smart TV), DVD player with Dolby surround system and a game console (x-box 360 Kinect), a stereo and CD Player.

The separate kitchen is fully u with dishwasher, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, stove. V. M. equipped. The first bedroom is furnished with a double bed and an additional cot and a shower and sink. The bathroom has two sinks, shower, tub and toilet. Furthermore, on the ground floor sauna with shower and a separate toilet. Upstairs are the other three bedrooms, two with a double bed and one with three single beds. The two double rooms are equipped with TV, DVD and game console (PS 2).

Enjoy from the terrace fantastic views of the surrounding mountains. 

The Gernkogel (2 267 m) - the local mountain - is the third-most floral mountain in Austria. The approximately two-hour hike takes you through lush alpine and mountain meadows. In this pasture flora and fauna are particularly beautiful. At the top you can enjoy a unique alpine panorama with the view of the mountains of the Hohe Tauern. In winter, ideal for ski tourers, directly from the house are possible trips in Gernkogel. The idyllic, typical mountain village of Wald is a sunny, sheltered between the glacier-covered mountains of the Hohe Tauern in the south and the alpine region of the Kitzbühel Alps, the Pinzgauer mountains, in the north.

From the forest you get into one of the most beautiful and unspoilt areas of the "Hohe Tauern National Park". Apart from simple walks through a widespread network of hiking trails, mainly in the region between 900-1. 800 m, lead medium and heavy mountaineering in the Venedigergebiet. The gondola can be reached in 2 200 meters above sea level the Königsleiten summit and the Wildkogel summit. Course has woods also entertainment in various forms.
