"Perfect for us & Sheba (our puppy). The cabin had everything we needed, coffee maker & grinder, stove, microwave, etc. The TV was great to get the local & national stations. Our host thought of everything from the utensils, pots & pans, dishware, spices, & other necessities to the towels, bathroom supplies, washer & dryer, storage space & outdoor amenities (grill, deck chairs, firepit...) The cabin was a perfect size for all of us, comfy chairs & sofa, A/C (we didn't need the heat) bed was OK....

The neighborhood is great for going for walks/runs with many nearby forests and trails plus the proximity to the town and it's fabulous restaurants made meal-times the highlight of the day. "Fantastic location! While the unit is located up a set of stairs and over a restaurant, it was perfect! You never knew the restaurant was below and the stairs were well lit and well maintained, an easy climb from the parking lot. The accommodations were superb! Everything you could want is supplied in the kitchen and baths. A short walk through the parking lot takes you to the walk/bike path connecting you to even more restaurants and shopping. "

The downsides were the bathroom sink did not drain properly and black mold floated out of the drain, and the bathroom towels were extremely musty smelling. And I was able to get a haircut right downstairs. The rec path was close and delightful to walk on. But we had no hot water--none--for the entire stay. Before arriving we were told the hot water heater needed a part that wouldn't be available for 3 days. We were even offered another rental to use instead, but it wasn't right downtown...
