Cozy Family-friendly Log Cabin With 25ft Interior Fireplace + Modern Amenities.

Cozy log home - about 2300 sq ft - on 2 acres with front and rear decks has living/dining areas on the first floor (radiant heat) with large fireplace, a master bedroom suite with queen bed & 2 person INDOOR jetted jacuzzi (NO outdoor hot tub), plus a second bath with shower. The kitchen has all modern appliances/amenities with a large dining table that is adjacent to a sun-room that also contains a gas log stove with an additional table & chairs. [High speed wireless access & VTel cable TV on both floors.] The second floor has a large loft with cathedral ceiling, couches & queen futon & tv. Adjacent are 2 additional bedrooms with cathedral ceilings, each with queen bed & one shared bath with 5 ft long shower. The exterior contains a 2-car garage with loft. An exterior fire pit with outdoor table/chairs and propane gas grill adds to a relaxing summer/fall evening.
Absorb a stunning view of the Milky Way as you stargaze during any season, take a walk to a nearby working farm, or a hike up to Tinmouth Mountain Cabin.

Perfect weekend cabin

This was a perfect home base for our ski weekend. The house had more than enough to keep us comfortable during our stay, and the fireplace was a great place to relax at the end of the day.

Lovely winter holiday

Spacious, comfortable and had everything we could have wanted for a holiday ski vacation. The weather wasn't entirely cooperative as far as the skiing, but we didn't mind with such a lovely place to settle in for a couple of cozy and relaxing winter days.

Peaceful cabin getaway in beautiful part of Vermont

Very happy with the cabin. The location is quite secluded which made for a great escape. Enjoyed using all the amenities including the jacuzzi bath tub and the fire pit. The cabin is well maintained and clean. Hosts were responsive and kind.

Anniversary getaway

Quiet getaway for the weekend just the two of us. It was the perfect spot. Out of the busy but a quick drive to get something to eat when you get hungry. The drive wasn’t bad either. Deb and Angelo were amazing to communicate with also.

Mountain Bike Getaway

Booked this terrific log cabin for its closeness to Slate Valley Trails for our annual Memorial Day Weekend mountain bike getaway. Terrific location, quiet spot on a gravel road with woods and farmlands. Great kitchen, lots of space to spread out. Very comfortable! So quiet at night, all we heard were a pair of barred owls calling to each other. Highly recommend!

The literal meaning of a cabin in the woods

My guy said to me, during a very stressful work time, “I just want to go to a cabin in the middle of nowhere”. We found perfection in the middle of nowhere. The bed was beyond d comfortable, the jet tub the most relaxing, the fire pit and the porch and the kitchen …. 😅 every space just had exactly what we needed.

The Getaway With Everything

I cannot say enough about this property! To call it a cabin is an understatement. This was like a log mansion. Absolutely beautiful, clean and well maintained. It had everything I could think of that would be needed for a quiet, peaceful, yes even romantic getaway. This may just become my annual escape from everything place!

Seeing the colors

We used this as our home base to go to the Calvin Coolidge center and to the Vermont country store and do some hiking. The ambience was awesome. Inside, particularly in the evening with the fire going and the lights on, it was really nice. Outside there's hills and farmland, you're kind of out by yourself except for the neighbor. One night we just lay down on the grass and looked at the Milky Way. I would definitely rent this again.

Vermont getaway

This was a beautiful house but we were a little taken aback that it wasn’t situated on the grounds the way the photos showed. There is a neighbor right next door. Please read the details of the booking closely because they definitely did not leave extra toilet paper or paper towels. The towels were not great. I would be aware also that the house is very dark No closet lights and the hallways get very dark just because it is an all wood house. It is a huge house with lots of space and the fit pit was nice . We enjoyed our stay. Would be perfect for large families or groups.
