"Pretty good all round - clean, nicely appointed and comfortable but with one major flaw. The boiler works away all night and with a late night and then an early rise the next day was a little disappointing and made sleeping soundly very difficult. 9/10 with the exception of the boiler noise "

Only very very slight glitch was that it isn't immediately obvious where the keypad is for the front door; an older one has been covered up and I didn't notice the buttons on the handle itself until I'd tried the old one - but I got there. "12 of us stayed at this beautiful house for 3 nights to see in the new year together, we had the most wonderful time. The house was perfect for all ages, there was something for everyone. We particularly liked that we could sit together in the living area and eat meals together as there was a dining table big enough for all of us. The games room and pool were perfect additions. Everyone enjoyed themselves which is a hard task when catering for all ages. We will be back, thank you"

"The apartment was beautiful, warm, comfortable and very well situated, however the washing machine didn't work - we were there for 13 days over Christmas - and the writing/figures on the oven and microwave were all but erased making their use a guessing game. There wasn't a complete set of cutlery, only one tea towel, no oven gloves and although we did virtually no cooking in the apartment we noticed a lack of utensils necessary for those who would cook."

"We stayed at the old coach house and dolls house for my birthday. The location was amazing, the houses were exceptionally well presented and the link with the pub next door was brilliant. The only downside is I thought the houses were joined together i.e you could walk through one house on to the other but otherwise it exceeded expectations. Thanks "

"We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Ostlers. Excellent location very close to the centre of Burford. All of the check in admin was very smooth, and had super communication from the host Steve. Some great local recommendations also. The house was spacious yet cosy, and very well appointed with kitchen utensils/ board games etc. Would highly recommend staying, and could have easily stayed longer and explored the local area more. It’s 30 min drive to bear at Cotswold attractions. 1. rooms are far from reception 2. hallways between rooms are tiny - only one person fits otherwise you will hit someone with door 3. "Great hotel for any stay in Oxford. We came for a long weekend over and just wanted to explore the city centre area and relax. We especially enjoyed breakfast, wish there was a vegetarian meat option but wasn’t a huge deal as there’s so many other options. The staff/ service was really good. We had treatments and used the pool & jacuzzi which were great and easy to use - just wish that the changing areas/ showers were cleaner. We had dinner one day at Deacons and the staff were great but the food was expensive for what it was, I’d pass and go to the city centre instead next time. It was easy to take the buses into the city or just walk, took around 15 minutes and it would be lovely in the summer. Overall, would definitely visit again and recommend to others! Thanks to the whole team for looking after us so well. "
