Villa in Wanze with Pool and Tennis Court

For an unforgettable holiday in a wooded area, this is the perfect place. Villa Mosa is a luxurious and tasteful country house that comfortably accommodates large groups (up to 26 adults and 14 children). Fun fact: Villa Mosa was used during the filming of Dutch tv show 'K3 Zoekt K3'!

Wanze is located in a wooded area, near the picturesque town of Huy with its magnificent citadel. The cities of Liège (40 km) and Namur (33 km) are also worth a visit. The region is also ideal for cycling and hiking.

Besides a stylish lounge, a dining room, a bar, a fully equipped kitchen and an outdoor terrace, the accommodation has comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. Wellness facilities are available and you can start your day with a refreshing dip in the swimming pool, in the annex. On the grounds, you will also find ample parking and even a private tennis court, where you can hit a ball from April to the end of October.

Please respect the peace of the neighbours and limit the volume after 22:00. Smoking is prohibited in the house and in the wellness area.
For reasons of tranquillity, this holiday home will not be rented to groups of youngsters
Reservations for groups of persons under 25 years of age are not permitted
It is strictly forbidden to organise any student party, bachelor party or drinking party in this house

Ondanks alle vertragingen werd er geduldig contact gehouden met ons bij aankomst. Erg vriendelijk ontvangen, en een fijn schone villa kregen wij! Gedurende ons verblijf hebben wij erg fijn contact gehouden met de eigenaren. Een prachtige omgeving, fijne tuin met tennisbaan, basketbal veld en genoeg fijne zitplekken waar je heerlijk kan genieten van de natuur en elkaar. Kortom een fantastisch verblijf voor jong en oud, in een fijne omgeving. Maar vooral erg gastvrije eigenaren… Een aanrader ♥️

Wat een fantastisch groot huis! Het biedt ruimte aan heel veel gasten. De kamers zijn ruim, prettig ingedeeld (meeste kamers hebben 4 slaapplaatsen, ideaal als gezin), de gezamenlijke ruimtes zijn ruim en goed verdeeld. De tuin is helemaal het einde. Groot, goed onderhouden, mooie tennisbaan, van alle gemakken voorzien. Het zwembad is ook heel netjes, schoon en groot genoeg voor meerdere gezinnen met kinderen. De gastvrouw (Kathleen) reageert heel snel, is vriendelijk, lost zaken gelijk op als ze gemeld worden. Heel prettig. Enkele tips: - Het huis is over het algemeen in goede staat, maar je merkt wel dat het al wat ouder is. Krakende vloeren, gehorig. Daarnaast mag er hier en daar wel een nieuw likje verf gegeven worden. - De badkamers zijn ruim en ondanks dat niet alle kamers een eigen badkamer hebben, zijn er genoeg. Ze mogen wel een opfrisbeurt gebruiken. Voegen en kitwerk zijn hier en daar bruin en viezig. - Wat ons betreft het grootste minpunt was de keuken. In zo'n huis hoop je op een horeca keuken, maar dat is niet het geval. De vaatwassers (3 stuks) duren lang en zijn hier en daar wat gammel, onhandig als je zoveel afwas hebt. De pannen zijn matig en lijken niet allemaal geschikt voor het fornuis (keramisch). Vooral de koekenpannen niet. Al met al een heel goed huis, prima locatie en nabij voorzieningen, voldoende parkeergelegenheid op eigen terrein, ideaal voor een mooie vakantie!!

Toplocatie (super bij mooi weer: grote tuin), charmant oud huis, goed voorziene keukeninrichting/living, zeer ruime slaapkamers, leuke mogelijkheid tot activiteiten, zeer goeie wellnessruimte (cfr sauna), ... Enige minpuntje (wat toch wel persoonlijk zeer vervelend was voor ons): er is geen trap in het zwembad. Erin gaat nog, maar eruit is op een bepaalde leeftijd (we hadden twee 80 plussers mee, verschillende 60 plussers én 1 hoogzwangere dame) helemaal niet evident.

Wij hebben met onze kinderen en hun partners en de kleinkinderen (31 personen totaal) een prachtig weekend gehad in Villa Mosa. Zoveel ruimte in en om het huis , dat we de poort bijna niet uit zijn geweest. Alleen voor enkele wandelingen langs de Maas. Kortom, een prima plek om terug te komen.

We konden onze ogen niet geloven bij aankomst Wat een sfeervolle aanblik en entree.....! We werden hartelijk ontvangen door de eigenaar en er stond zelfs, ter ere van ons 40 jarig huwelijksjubileum, een prachtig boeket bloemen voor ons klaar. Ons werd, zoals de eigenaar het zei In een klein kwartiertje beknopt en toch volledig uitleg gegeven, over het gebruik van de villa... Het voelde , als waren we verblijvende in een kasteel. Het is schoon,gezellig en zeker niet als laatste........ van alle gemakken voorziet voor zo'n groep als ons. We waren met ons hele gezin en hebben op een geweldige manier ons jubileum gevierd (34 pers.) Het supermooie zwembad was een waar vermaak voor iedereen en zeker voor de kleinkinderen! De tennisbaan, voetbalveld en de trampoline's gaven ook veel vermaak. De reaktie van de kinderen was dan ook Dit moeten we zeker nog eens doen en je hoorde geregeld zeggen Wat een geweldig weekend, vele malen mooier als dat we ons konden voorstellen. De tuinen zagen er sfeervol en uitertst verzorgd uit met een geweldig uitzicht op de rivier de Maas met z'n regelmatig voorbijgaande vrachtschepen.... Als laatste alle lof aan de eigenaar (esse) , zij was en is ZEER attent ! Ook XXLVILLA is een heuse aanrader om bij te boeken, het personeel is aqudaat en uiterst vriendelijk!

Villa Mosa is een heel leuk huis met een fijn binnen zwembad, een tennisbaan en ...

Villa Mosa is een heel leuk huis met een fijn binnen zwembad, een tennisbaan en een grote tuin met vijf trampolines. Heel geschikt voor grotere groepen zoals wij het grootste deel van de geboekte twee weken waren, met de hele familie en een aantal vrienden, maar ook voor kleinere groepen. We hebben er ook een aantal dagen met vijf mensen gezeten en je voelt je nooit verloren. Hoogstens is het terras niet heel gezellig met al die stoelen en tafeltjes. Alles is schoon en een paar kleine probleempjes werden snel verholpen. De beheerders zijn heel goed bereikbaar, vriendelijk en zeer professioneel. Het binnenzwembad is heel gezellig, en praktisch bij wat wat minder goed weer. Wij kwamen ook vooral voor de tennisbaan die wel heel slecht was geworden na weken van bloedheet weer maar toen ik daar over klaagde, hebben ze onderhoudsmensen gestuurd en het probleem zo goed mogelijk verholpen. Mocht je net als wij veel tennissen, dan zou ik vragen of ze de baan vooraf prepareren. Alle voorzieningen zijn in de buurt en bijvoorbeeld de grotten van Han zijn maar drie kwartier rijden. Ook kun je overal kanoën maar helaas waren die deze zomer allemaal gesloten vanwege de droogte. Er zijn ook allerlei andere activiteiten binnen een uur rijden en voor kinderen tot een jaar of acht is er in Huy/Hoei een enorme speeltuin (Mont Mosan, tegen betaling).

Wat hebben we genoten in Villa Mosa. Genoeg plezier met ons gezin, 28 pers. Een complete inrichting, heerlijk veel ruimtes om te relaxen met elkaar. De kinderen waren weg vande trampolines en als klapper waren het zwembad en de sauna helemaal geweldig. We voelden ons bevoorrecht dat we hier een weekend lang mochten bivakkeren.

Wat een prachtig kader. De authenticiteit van dit huis is bewaard en gaf zijn cachet op onze positieve ervaring. Bij aankomst hartelijk ontvangen door de eigenares met een grondige uitleg van het gebouw en zwembad. Een aanrader, ook al heb je geen kinderen. Wij waren namelijk een groep van 35 mannen die ieder jaar op weekend gaan. Ondanks het feit dat huisdieren niet worden aanvaard werd voor ons een uitzondering gemaakt aangezien we een mindervalide persoon met zijn assistentiehond mee hadden op het weekend. Niettegenstaande was het niet zo optimaal gezien er geen kamers zijn op het gelijkvloers, maar dit werd wat verholpen door de brede trappen en gangen. Voor een grote groep zijn er meer dan voldoende badkamers en wc's aanwezig.
