Es liegt etwas abseits. Hat kein Restaurant um außerhalb der Halbpension zu essen. Einen Abend haben wir an der Halbpension teilgenommen - Barbecue Abend - war nicht gut. Es wurde alles vorgegrillt und dann wie bei einem Buffet angerichtet und ?warm gehalten? Muss unbedingt verbessert werden. Preis / Leistung für Buffet stimmt hier überhaupt nicht.

Das Hotel liegt wunderschön gelegen. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß. Aus meiner Sicht fehlt dem Hotel jedoch Struktur in vielen Bereichen. So waren z.B. die elektronischen Zimmerschlüssel nicht bis zum Check-Out freigeschalten. Entgegen der Ankündigung verfügt das Hotel nicht über ein Restaurant. Es gibt eine Abendverpflegung nur als Halbpension mit zwei möglichen 3-gänge Menüs. Das Restaurant, vom Personal als Speisesaal bezeichnet, präsentiert sich als solcher. Es ist ein nettes aufgeräumtes Bistro. Für mein Empfinden eines vier Sterne Hotels nicht würdig. Leider ignoriert die Belegschaft die Möglichkeit der elektronischen und persönlichen Tischreservierung um dann anderen Gästen einen Tisch zu reservieren. Das Essen findet in zwei vorgegebenen Zeitfenstern statt. Wir hatten uns für den zweiten Durchgang um 19:30 Uhr entschieden. Leider gab es für 4 Personen keinen gedeckten Tisch obwohl der Wunsch hinterlegt war. Eingedeckt wurde nachdem wir uns einen Tisch gesucht hatten. Um es abzukürzen: das Weizen gab es im Bierseidel, die Vorspeise kam nach ca. 45 min und war nicht wirklich heiß. Besteck fehlte. Die Getränke kamen nach ca. 30 Minuten. Alles in allem Kantienencharakter und -niveau. Das Frühstück war gut, am zweiten Abend bot sich in der Kantine das selbe Bild. Die Zimmer sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen und mir persönlich fehlt ein erkennbares Konzept bei der Ausstattung. Was wirklich einem 4 Sterne Hotel entspricht, sind die Preise. Schade, dass Hotel hat Potential.

Ich war mit meinem Aufenthalt in Waren mehr als zufrieden. Sehr freundlicher Empfang, auch überall war das Personal äußerst freundlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet war opulent - der Frühstücksraum ist auch sehr schön. Zum Hotel gehört ein großes Schwimmbad und eine schöne Saunalandschaft. Baden ging ich im hoteleigenen Steg im Tiefwaren See. Die Zimmer waren auch sehr schön, ich habe herrlich geschlafen. Das Bad war sehr groß.

Wir hatten nach der Buchung eine Anfrage hinsichtlich der Reservierung von Fahrrädern und einem Zimmer oberhalb des Erdgeschosses gestellt. Die Anfrage wurde ignoriert. Als wir da waren, haben wir prompt ein EG-Zimmer (der Seeblick verfing sich in einer Hecke) bekommen und mit Glück noch zwei Fahrräder ergattert. Im Zimmer war der Fußboden nicht sauber und während des Aufenthalts (2 Nächte) wurde nicht saubergemacht. Es gibt ein Restaurant mit Buffet, aber nicht a la carte. Beim Check-out sollte der bereits über hotels.com gezahlte Zimmerpreis nochmal gezahlt werden. Zudem war der Preis höher. Positiv war das Frühstück und die sehr guten Elektroräder des Hotels.

Wir hatten ein riesengroßes Zimmer mit Ausblick in den Garten der angehörigen Klinik! Die Zimmereinrichtung selbst ist ziemlich altbacken und zweckmäßig und könnte mal etwas Auffrischung vertragen. Der Spa Bereich hingegen war sehr modern und wunderschön, ebenfalls großartig war das Frühstücksbuffet, wenn auch hier die Koordination etwas besser hätte sein können. Klasse ist ebenfalls, dass man direkt im Hotel Fahrräder leihen kann. Teils könnte das Personal noch mehr zum Thema Freundlichkeit geschult werden. Leider haben wir öfter mitbekommen, dass Gäste pampig angeredet wurden!

Check in unfreundlich, auch mit viel Verständnis wegen der Coronamaßnahmen kann es nicht sein, dass kurz und bündig erklärt wird "Frühstück nur von 10-11 Uhr..."die Restzeiten waren ausgebucht, alternativ wurde uns nichts angeboten. Nach massiven Protest und langem hin und her haben wir die Variante Zimmerfrühstück (was auch im Internet auf der homepage in Corona-hochzeiten angeboten wurde) durchgesetzt. Keine Erläuterung zu Details, so dass wir am ersten Morgen eine Minimalvariante (4 Brötchen mit Belag für eins) aufs Zimmer bekamen - mit kleiner Erklärung zum Ausfüllen der "Wunschliste" hätte es gut klappen können. Der Spa mit Sauna gut gestaltet - keine Erklärungen bzgl. evtl. möglicher Spa-Behandlungen, keine Hinweise auf dem Zimmer, eine gesonderte Reception im Spa in 3 Tagen nie besetzt. Der Innenpool an einem Tag benutzbar am anderen Tag ohne Wasser - auch ohne Hinweis warum und wann er wieder benutzt werden kann. Liegen im Außenbereich von Vögeln beschmutzt und teilweise defekt. Restaurant ohne Flair und sehr kühle Atmosphäre. Personal sollte ein wenig mehr Kundenorientierung zeigen. Wir würden dieses Hotel nicht wieder wählen.
