"Excellent accommodation, perfect for visits to The Holy Island, Berwick, Bamburgh, Alnwick and Newcastle.. Lindisfarne Inn next door for food and drink, Barn at Beal a short dander down the road.."

"A very basic standard of accommodation, the beds weren’t very comfortable, the TV was tiny and only Freeview channels available. The outside area was like a junk yard and parking was tricky in terms of getting back out on to the road. No communication prior to our stay so we had no idea of the check in process. Ok for a 2 night stay but won’t be returning."

"We would highly recommend this property! Very cozy and homely. The welcome pack of essentials was very much appreciated. There were six of us and two dogs and there was plenty of room for all of us. All bedrooms are a good size. Easy to get to the beaches and surrounding areas. The cottage is located in very picturesque, peaceful surroundings. We instantly felt relaxed and enjoyed our time there immensely. We will hopefully be back and will take our golf clubs next time!"

"The house was mostly comfortable but needs some upkeep. The communication with the host was a challenge and they did not reply to most messages (even an acknowledgment of receipt would be okay). One of the showers we could not adjust the temperature, 2 of the showers had mold. One of the biggest challenges was trying to cook as the cookware is very worn and some of it unusable. It would be nice to have a few basic essentials such as salt and pepper and hand soap upon arrival to get things...

"Lovely home from home whilst walking the St Cuthbert's way. Had all we needed."

"Arrived at property, east to find and 2 minutes of the A1 so great location. Check in and access easy. Fac I'll lities and standards in the property were great. Living room is upstairs and we never used as the kitchen dining area was brilliant for cooking eating in and nipping out to garden to catch some sun. Would recommend this to anyone visiting the area."

"Really lovely and cosy hotel in the heart of the town. They thought of everything - even the welcome book that had a history of the building and the local area.
