Where do I start?!
The apartment is miles away from anything to do and without local knowledge you will struggle to get into the main part of the city. The owner was hard to get hold of leading up to our stay and I did attempt to pull out of staying there due to the terrible communication. However on arrival I was phoned by the owner, telling us there had been a problem with flies in the apartment and to not open the windows on a night. We agreed to this without yet seeing what was to unfold. Upon entering the apartment we saw flies everywhere that we had to get rid of ourselves by hoovering them up from the ceiling. We noticed the curtains had been eaten by moths, the walls were disgustingly filthy and were in need of a coat of paint, there were footwear marks on the ceiling where flies had been squashed, the sheets were filthy and there was an orange crusty stain on the fitted bed sheet, the sofa bed was well and truly broken and there was no way anyone could sleep on it. The sofa bed - once pulled out had rips and tears everywhere and the base slid around on the dirty tiled floor. We attempted to get this resolved at midnight after we had come back to the place but with no joy.
The following morning after no sleep on the sofa bed it was decided enough was enough and after hours on the phone to Expedia we were eventually given a refund but there was no direct communication from the owners as they simply did not answer the phone!
