Only issue was trying to find the 'central area' to drop off our rubbish, only bin we could find was behind some barriers, so had to leave it outside the property. Some of the double bedrooms were smaller than expected but fine overall. Beds were very comfortable. It was useful to have extra living space in the annexe. The lounge there became a temporary home office. One downside-the dishwasher was not adequate for the number of people staying at full occupancy. We spent too much time at the kitchen sink....

Prospect Cottage is a lovely family home packed with all the amenities that a family needs. "A lovely night away for my daughter’s birthday. All the staff were very attentive. We received a lovely warm welcome and the breakfast and evening meal was exceptional. The waiter brought out a surprise ‘happy birthday’ on a plate with cake at the end that really made our meal very special. We enjoyed the spa and the beds were very comfortable. A super hotel for a lovely laid back relaxing break."

"Absolutely WOW. What an amazing place. Room was very comfortable and whole place was very quiet. Lots to look at within the building. Food was great and staff were also very helpful and friendly.
