I had such a wonderful experience at Placemaker DC in DuPont Circle! The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming from the moment I arrived, making me feel right at home. The room was beautifully designed—comfortable, spacious, and thoughtfully decorated with all the little touches that made my stay extra special. It’s clear they really care about their guests. Great value. My room was nice, perfect for long term stays w/good kitchen and even a washer/dryer combo. The flooring was not done well however and the vinyl planks did not fit correctly -big gaps which caused the planks to move around. Hope they didn’t pay that contractor!

We didn’t like the washer, it was washing and drying together but it never dried our laundry, we had to hang our clothes around the room to able to dry them. Couch wasn’t comfortable and there was no other chair for sitting. Too many unnecessary cabinets but only one night stand and no reading lamps.
