"Great apartment in great house. Everything was comfortable and clean. It had a little kitchenette which we didn't use but it would have been useful for a longer stay. I have marked you down 1 star on Communications as I could find the information regarding check out time on the last day and it was hard to find it online, it said 11am in one place and 12 noon another. I had to go to the Holiday Inn checkout next door and ask them in person. "

"All in all nice little cottage for a couple and good as was pet friendly to go up Durham to visit our son up uni and take our dog to see him too. Cottage was nice a little place although i think the tv was slightly too high on wall. As we arrived there were 3 plumbing vans parked outside so had to park out side another cottage for bout hour n half till they moved their vans after going in pub at front of cottages before parking own car then outside our own cottage. "Everything was lovely, clean, well equiped and just as advertised. Full kitchen with all the equipment and even some supplies. Bath was clean and had all needed supplies. Beds were great, comphy. The only thing I want to draw attention to is accessibility. Not a criticism, but if one were disabled they would want to know: 2 steps down to kitchen, 3 steps more to bathroom, a full flight of steep steps outside down to the washer under the stairs"

"The staff were superb, friendly, helpful, welcoming, and they went out of their way to ensure that I had a pleasurable experience. I stayed in the Penthouse which didn't have a charging point for my toothbrush or shaver in the bathroom, and the coffee served at breakfast was terrible! "Hotel is in a good location just a short walk over Millennium Bridge over to Quayside and city centre. We did not eat in the hotel. Able to park on site but there is a public car park immediately adjacent. Bed very comfortable. Bathroom a bit dated and the hotel bar would benefit from more extensive stock especially for night caps and a brandy glass instead of a tumbler! Would stay again."

"Very friendly staff very clean rooms nice that there is tea and coffee in your room. I had a lovely quiet room. The only thing I would say is that the bar downstairs is rather pricey. Other than that, it was super very convenient for the shops near the train station. I will certainly stay again. "

"Nice clean and modernised hotel, staff were highly professional and pleasant. Room was very comfortable, the only point i would say is that i couldnt switch the room lights on and off from the bed, just the lamps, you have to get up and go to each light and lamp to turn them off, the rooms arent small by the way. I would definitely stay again though. "
