Fantastic and peaceful stay
We had a magnificent week in Vermont. The house is as advertised, clean, nothing is missing, the location by the lake is perfect and the owners are super friendly/helpful. The price is reasonable as well. We recommend it and would definitely come back.

We just spent a week at this peaceful lake house We had a great week checking out this charming little town and surrounding. The kids loved the tram ride up Jay Peak, fishing and swimming in the lake. If you plan on swimming in the lake outside the cabin bring water shoes. The lake house was super clean and comfortable and stocked with everything you may need to cook. Great week!

We had a lovely stay in the lake house. The owners attention to detail was evident in the amenities, cleanliness and provisions inside and outside. Lake view was amazing. Location was quiet and peaceful. Owners were available and responsive to questions. Would definitely book this lake house again!

Amazing stay at the lake house
The lake house is in a quiet neighborhood with a fantastic view of the lake. It is only 5 minutes away from the Newport city centre hence you are not far away from the restaurants and bike and kayak rentals. The lake house is small but well maintained. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and utensils. Overall, a great stay.

Lake vacation
This property is very nicely located on the lake front of Lake Memphamegog in Newport VT. The views are amazing and the location feels isolated and is quite, but is close enough to town to make quick trips. The owners of the property are next door and made us feel very welcome and were there to any any questions we may have had. I highly recommend renting this property.

Terrific location on the lake with great views and a wonderful deck from which to enjoy them. The interior and furnishings are a bit dated, but it was clean, comfortable, and the owner - who lives next door - was very gracious. Good wifi. Central heating with a portable A/C unit in the living room if you need it (we didn’t).

A very comfortable three bedroom house. Patio with barbecue grill was well used. Bedrooms were a nice size as was the living room. Kitchen had everything for cooking each night. Again, a very comfortable house.

What a nice spot
A very comfortable house in a fantastic location. Great deck and grill. Right on the water, we pedal boated a lot. Lovely flowers, hummingbirds. Super access to the lake. Very close to town. Wonderful hosts. Wish we were still there.

Sweet Place to Stay
This property was super clean and the lake view was unbeatable. I went with a friend for a few days to get some R and R and we got just that. The beds were comfortable and the everything was as described. Dennis was super easy to communicate with. Newport surprised us with more restaurants than we thought. You have to visit the Brown Cow for breakfast. All in all things were great!

Great vacation on the lake!
We had a great stay at this Newport l, VT rental. The house is nice and well located right on the water. Plenty of room for our family if 4. The hosts were really helpful. Newport was both a great destination (lake activities, several public parks, awesome bike path, several good restaurants) and a terrific base camp (mountain biking, hiking, etc.). Highley recommend! I hope we’ll be back!

Amazing Place!!
Stayed in the lake house for a long weekend getaway with friends…what a wonderful experience!! Dennis and Annette were the ultimate hosts…fully available when needed, yet completely respectful of our privacy and space. The house was very clean and well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Then there is the lake…I’m in love…clean, peaceful, quiet - perfect for paddle boarding, kayaking, or just floating around! We would have stayed forever if we could have!!
