"I received a call 24 hours before our arrival (on New Years Eve),telling me the booking cancelled due to 'gas issues' in the apartment. I was told they would arrange for Expedia to search for alternative accomodation. "What an amazing property! We could not have been more impressed. Just gorgeous. Very, very happy with my experience with friends on my 50th, it was just wonderful. Our host was really helpful and helped on follow up queries. Can get a bit colder in the night for those staying up late, but on balance I could not be more happier about my stay. Great hotel

"We stayed for two nights, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was very nice with everything that you could need, great tea tray, lovely toiletries etc. very comfortable bed, good lighting and a nice hot shower. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice. Plenty of parking too and in a great location for walking to both Bowness and Windermere. We would definitely stay here again. The only negative issue was a thoughtless guest on our final night who played the TV very loudly and had no regard for other guests."
