"Everything would have been a 5 with the exception of having no elevator. When I asked for a first floor room, the person checking me in said there weren’t any available. There were three cars in the parking lot. So we dragged two very heavy bags up the stairs. We went out for dinner and returned about 9:30 and there were the same three cars in the lot, so not sure who was occupying those first floor rooms… I’m not even sure this hotel is ADA compliant. "

"The room was clean and had the basics. The fixtures are a bit tired. The toilet seat has seen better days. the ceiling had been repaired but painted in areas with a different shade of white. Outside the areas were free of debris but the stone area the plantings could use a good weeding. Overall, a decent place to stay - not much available in Wautoma, Wi. We have stayed there more than once. "

"I have rented on this lake the last 4 years. This place is a better fit for my family. It's safer. More railings, steps to pier and into lake are not so steep and have railings. Maybe a face washcloth in each bathroom would be nice. Also extra toilet paper in each bath would be nice. The holder in the master bath is coming koose from the wall. I honestly didn't do it. I noticed when I was changing the roll. Hope to rent for many years to come.downstairs"

"We stayed for a girls weekend! The property was very clean and welcoming! The host was very kind and responsive. The views are stunning - it really is gorgeous! Only two recommendations - the bunk beds and twin beds were very uncomfortable- the upstairs beds were awesome! There are neighbors - very close - so if you want secluded this isn’t for you. The neighbors never bothered us but Saturday one was power washing all day and being incredibly loud so it wasn’t as peaceful as we would have liked...

"We enjoyed our stay. Everything is conveniently located. Boom Bay Bar has great food and the camp site if very nice. We also had a boat that we docked. The channel is a little shallow and weedy but had easy access to Lake Poygan. Would stay here again. "
