My girlfriend and I did a quick three day two night trip to the Outer Banks. So we were looking for something quick, easy, and convenient to the water. This place was great! Not on the water itself, but just a few minutes walk to the beach. Required walking through a heavily wooded trail and then in between some beach homes, but by no means complicated or treacherous. The host were absolutely excellent! During our three days, we even ran into one of them in town, while away from the home.
The only minor minor hitch, which I did not realize when I booked it, was that there is no stove/oven. There is a charcoal grill available for use around back and a microwave in unit, but that’s it. So if you were planning to cook food other than things that need to be grilled, you’ll be a little out of luck. Otherwise, you do have all the other kitchen amenities. Full fridge, toaster and toaster oven, etc. However, this was still a very minor inconvenience as we mostly ate out and/or grilled. I definitely give a thumbs up to this place if you think this would work well for what you are looking for!
