Tranquil Paradise
Posted 7 Oct 2024 on HomeAwayMy husband and I, as well as our two daughters, one SIL and two grandchildren stayed here before and after we the service for my parents at the military cemetery in Spooner. We all felt this was our favorite VRBO to date. It is a large space but so warm and cozy. It was soothing to all of our souls during this emotional time. My grandchildren loved playing with the dollhouse, playing board games, and fishing from the dock. I don’t think any of us wanted to leave. I can’t thank the owners of this lovely property enough.

Quiet getaway.
Posted 1 Oct 2024 on HomeAwayIt was a nice place for some peace and quiet. There were a few places to explore in surrounding areas. A lot of stairs to the lake but when down there it was quiet, sandy and beautiful. I like the Scandinavian decor.

A week of R & R
Posted 26 Aug 2024 on HomeAwayWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tallkabin. The location is perfect, the view is amazing. The home is so clean, beds are comfortable and the home has a great floor plan. The screen porch was our favorite spot to play cards, have morning coffee, play games in the evening. Loved that we could bring our family dog along as well. Kitchen is extremely well equipped. The lake is deep and clean, we paddled on SUP and kayaks all over and we had great luck fishing. Thank you for allowing us to stay at your lovely home!

Family Getaway

There is a large, screened porch that is ideal as well. The home is clean, and offers a large kitchen, many bedrooms and comforts and is well cared for with great hosts.

Posted 7 Aug 2024 on HomeAwayWe continue to come back year after year because we love this place to much! The owner, Brent, is so available and a great communicator. He answers all of my questions in a prompt manner. The home is so spacious and clean. We enjoy the large kitchen table which allows our family to eat together. The screened in porch is a great space for mornings and evenings. It is so close to the lake! We rent a pontoon boat and enjoy swimming in the clear lake water. We will be there again next year!

Relaxing and secluded house
Posted 6 Aug 2024 on HomeAwayThis house is very charming and roomy. We particularly liked the screened in porch so we could enjoy the lake view without the bugs. There's a nice beach area and a dock. There is also a canoe which was fun to use. The owner kept in good contact we us before, during and after our stay. I would highly recommend this rental.

Wooded wonder
Posted 12 Jul 2024 on HomeAwayPerfect place surrounded by trees and so close to the lake! So much space and literally nothing missing or needed to improve. All ages enjoyed the dock, water toys, games and grilling. Use of environmental and body friendly soaps and cleaners made us feel at home. Appreciated they allowed well behaved dogs too as it allowed for us to bring him along for the first time. Thank you!!
