The perfect place to stay while exploring the many outdoor activities the Mt Shasta area has to offer. Enjoy an abundance of wildlife within the neighborhood. Go for a short walk up the hill to see spectacular views of the area.
The home is very comfortable and not cluttered. Most rooms have large smart tv's. The living room and dining area have great views of the outdoors.
The living room is nice sized with a large Lcd TV, paired with Roku. It has a very comfortable sofa as well as a Lazy boy chair and a rocking chair. In cooler weather, it's cozy and romantic to have the woodstove going.
The dining room is open to the kitchen. It has great views, especially for sunsets.
The master bedroom is a comfortable and cozy room with a queen-sized bed. It has an enjoining bathroom that is handicap-accessible.
There is a large bonus bedroom that has a large smart TV with a queen-sized bed.
We have a dedicated room for the office, which is a quiet place to work. It has a comfortable desk.
It also has a futon for an extra bed.
We do have internet, the speed usually quite adequate for most uses. I have used it for working remotely with very few issues.
Also there is a smaller bedroom with a twin sized mattress.
There is ample patio space and chairs to enjoy the beautiful outdoors. There is a BBQ grill on the back patio.
Our neighborhood is open and there is plenty of parking.
There are so many great places to walk and bike within our neighborhood!
There is a really great golf course in our community just a couple of miles up the road.
A nice place to visit on the lake within walking distance is our community center located at 15244 Driftwood Ln, Weed, CA 96094. The lake is quite low, but still a nice place to go.
Another nice place to hike near the lake is:. Camp Shastina Hill. It's easier to get to the water there. Great place for sunsets. It is a hike though (not a hard one though). It is about 5 miles from our home.
For the best view of Mount Shasta within walking distance, go up the hill on Lakeshore drive and turn left at Dwinnell rd and go .25 miles.
