"I was in town visiting a friend for nearly two weeks, and this little pod was such a delightful place to stay! Situated in a very charming Japanese garden, it was plenty private, cozy and comfortable. It also seemed bigger inside than the pictures might make it look. The hosts Ian and Caz were so kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home. They stocked a basket with all kinds of snacks and breakfast foods and even brought us some home baked cake and scones. "Everything was perfect.. I can’t think of anyway this could be improved. Great location, apartments were immaculate and really lovely decorated. Everything really well thought of. Can’t wait to return sometime soon. The most important things were that it was great for our children and our dog!! We spent our first evening at a local pub then walked home with a takeaway, next day at the market and shopped around the village. Cooked some amazing steaks from the butchers. Then the following two days...

"An old characterful house in a lovely location. Comfortable lounge with lots of seating, well-appointed kitchen downstairs. Upstairs..spacious bedrooms and bathroom. Worked well for our family of grandparents, parents and siblings and two small children to attend a family wedding nearby. Clear instructions were left. It was ideal for us."

Minor gripes were that the reception staff were not always there and the extra key ‘card machine’ was not especially simple. "It was a birthday treat and i couldnt have been more happier. It was near everything necessary and i didnt find it too noisy. Everyone was welcoming and professional. It was clean. Bed was so comfortable. Best night sleep either of us has had in a long time. The bathroom was spacious and the claw footed bath really added to it. Relax, refresh and enjoy the restaurant

"We went to have some relaxation and refreshments between Christmas and the New Year. Our time at All Saints Hotel did just that. All staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived when we had been offered an early arrival. This was immediately resolved by giving us an upgrade to another room."

Little Gem in Bury St Edmunds

"The accommodation was immaculate. The room was warm and inviting. The breakfast was excellent. Eggs benedict cooked to perfection was a dish I always wanted to try. It was beautiful, with two runny yolks. This place is a little gem in Bury St Edmunds 5 minute walk to the town center I cannot recommend it enough 5 stars. "

Lovely one night stay

"This is a really beautifully kept and charming pub hotel. We had a room on the 2nd floor (i believe) with a view of the street. As a 17th century building it does have slightly steep stairs and some quaint low doorframes. We stayed for one night but I'd be happy to stay there for more than that if I'm in the area again. The pictures of the room were accurate. It was warm in winter even though heating was off. It was well kept and clean, the beds were comfortable, and the ensuite bathroom brand new and very clean (the gents in the pub downstairs a slightly different story! But the pub itself was very nice). - Doors at the rear are left open should you want to come back in late at night. - Breakfast was a generous full English. - The room also had a kettle with some complementary tea and coffee sachets, and there was also a decent hair drier. - Parking might be a touch limited if you arrive at the wrong time as it seems to be shared with pub customers but you might he able to find somewhere nearby in a pinch. "
