"The inside of the house was great and had everything you would need. The pool was clean and well kept. The hot tub never got very hot but the home owner communicated with us the entire time and apologized for the inconvenience. He was very nice and even offered to let us check out late. Only reason I give it four instead of five stars is because 1) The Hot Tub and 2) The back yard was a bit over grown and could have used a fresh mowing. Aside from the two thing mentioned above it was great."

"Stayed for two nights with no issues. The kitchen is very well stocked with sauces and spices. The AC is undersized, but we were going through a heat wave, so it would catch up at night. Outside was nice, but there were many giant but harmless spiders, which is likely why there were no bugs or mosquitos. The morning visits from about 10 Longhorns was enjoyable."

"We stayed there with 12 people including three teens under age 15. The house was welcoming and we didn’t feel crowded with so many people. The other king bed is in the loft which I did not find very clear in the listing. We loved our stay. We were in town for my son’s wedding and it was the perfect home away from home. "It turns out this house is 110 years old and is just as charming as you would think it would be. The kitchen is stocked with anything you would need to make a great meal, there is tons of history on the walls and everywhere inside the home. The rooms and bathroom were great. It was like stepping back into the 1890's when we walked in. Not to mention LaGrange is just a great, fun town too. If you are looking for a great place to stay in LaGrange, this is it. You won't be disappointed."

"My daughter found this Barbie doll house on-line and it truly was a wonderful experience. I needed a quiet laid-back couple of days and this was the perfect choice. The jack and jill bathroom worked perfect for us. The only thing missing was a rocking chair on the porch and a swimming pool. I look forward to a return visit in the fall."
