"The rental had more amenities than we could use for a short stay. There was a laundry room, fully functioning kitchenette, nice sized sitting area, bedroom, and bathroom as well as a walk in closet. There was some street noise at night, but we were not disturbed by it. Nonetheless, it was good that earplugs and sleep masks were provided even though we didn’t find them necessary. The tea and coffee selections were also nice to wake up to. Both the check in and check out processes were easy...

"My partner and I (and our two dogs) greatly enjoyed our time at Charlotte's cabin. It was very quiet and had all the amenities we needed. I will say that the drive up from the main road was more precarious than I was expecting based on the information provided in the listing. I have a midsize SUV, so it was no problem for us, but I would not recommend driving a sedan up the dirt/gravel roads."

"We had three families stay in this home and it was fantastic! The house is gorgeous and well appointed and maintained. Everyone had their own space and bathrooms. Easy drive to Greenville and about an hour from the mountains. Neighborhood is cute! We went on morning walks before breakfast and our day. Walmart is close as are several places to eat. Beth was great at helping us with anything we needed! Great memories made for this family!! Thank you!"

Mrs. Duff Cottage has such history, charm, and warmth you feel right at home whether it's just a couple nights or an extended stay. For us - it was the perfect place for post-surgery recoveries before the lengthy journey back to Alaska. Their true Southern hospitality has created a friendship we enjoy long after returning home."

"There was an issue with a guest in the room across from ours which caused a lot of commotion and noise in the middle of the night. At some point the police even became involved so needless to say we lost a lot of sleep as a result. The next morning we complained and the hotel manager (Owen Griffeth) was really very good and understanding. He made sure we left satisfied and we appreciated the gesture!"

"Friendly reception when we arrived. They have a 24 hour coffee machine that makes anything you want, coffees, lattes, etc. This is important to me because I like decaf and I was able to get decaf cappuccino. Great way to arrive! In addition, the room was lovely. The bed was very comfortable with a blanket that was heavy enough for me to sleep comfortably. Shower was great. And a good breakfast that was open for three hours. Wonderful stay."
