Cabin in hiking heaven with access to beautiful Webb Lake - the Western Mtns

This clean and comfortable cabin is in Weld, Maine - a center for hiking and outdoor recreation in the beautiful, uncrowded Western Mountains of Maine. Fantastic family getaway or cozy couples retreat. Complete privacy with tons to do and see.
While you’re at the cabin, use the season pass to visit beautiful Webb Lake, just down the road, for swimming and boating.

Available by the week or for long weekends. Minimum three night stay. Owner lives just down the street.

A state park pass is provided which allows you to hike the acclaimed mountain trails in Mt. Blue State Park, swim in the clear waters of Webb Lake, rent kayaks and canoes from the park headquarters and enjoy the incredible scenery and serenity of one of the largest and loveliest state parks in Maine, or just relax on the porch with a good book. No crowds, lines or traffic jams to deal with.

Use the camp as your base and explore the many lakes and byways of the region, with warm clear days and crisp nights. Heat is available in the cabin. Cook out on the gas grill at the camp and the kitchen has all the utensils you need for cooking and dining, but you should plan to bring your own food, unless you want to make a trip to the grocery store during your stay.

A washer and dryer is on-premises, along with linens, towels, and all the cookware and dishes you need. Two full bathrooms with stall showers, plus gas stove and oven, microwave and dishwasher. Two separate dining areas, and tv.

Enjoy the huge yard, complete with firepit for toasting marshmallows, star-filled evenings and absolute quiet of this beautiful location.

Separate main floor bedroom with queen-size bed, huge second floor, air-conditioned room with five twin beds, full bathroom - one large space but equal to at least two bedrooms in size!

Ceiling fans on first and second floors.

Living/dining area on the first floor. Big enclosed front porch with more dining options and a daybed to sleep one more.

If you want a comfortable, clean and serene place to vacation this is it! Great value.

Relaxing
This place is great, it has all of the comforts of home. We truly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. The camp was very clean and I'm a bit OCD, so this place really made our stay so nice. We had a fire, cooked out, had family visit, watched movies. We brought our pets, Tessa and Petals, not much we could ask for. I wish there were outside lights on both porches and the grill could use a grate that fits and a full size coffee maker. Other than that everything was perfect, the kitchen has most everything you can think of for cooking and plenty of space for company. Definitely will be going back!

Wonderful Property!
We had such a great vacation in this home! The pictures online do not do the house justice! Cozy, comfortable, plenty of space and everything you need to enjoy your time there. The beds were comfy and whole place was spotless. The huge yard was perfect for our dogs and games of bocce by the firepit. Close to Webb Lake, Smalls Falls, Tumbledown Mtn and Mt. Blue. Thank you so much!

Great place to disconnect and enjoy your surroundings
Extremely cozy home. Place had all the necessities needed to be warm on a cold night. There is little service around these parts, but that is what I wanted. Local milk is amazing. There are a number of tiny local stands that provide local eats such as fresh eggs , veggies, and such. Place provided wood for the fire place. Lucky to have a clear night and watch the stars. Mt. Blue is near and has some very beautiful views. For fishermen, lake webb shore fishing was brutal. See people on boats and kayaks had a better time. Still, an amazing hike. Really looking forward to coming back.

Getaway in Weld
The property is close to Webb Lake at the State Park where we waked our dogs and about 15 minute drive to Tumbledown MT which is fun hike. The house is a perfect getaway for a small group. It was great having our dogs with us. The wood stove kept us quite warm. Very comfortable inside. Poor cell service but apparently that might change soon. Would recommend for family getaway!

Long weekend stay
Overall, we enjoyed the stay at this property. It was was you except from a Maine camp and had the essentials including a large yard, grill, and firepit. The location is excellent as it is very close to Mt. Blue State Park. The only criticism we have is the check in process. The check in was unusual in that a family member unlocked the property prior to our arrival but then showed up and walked into the house to give us the run down of the house and area. In normal circumstances this would have been a nice gesture, but given the COVID pandemic this was a bit uncomfortable. We would have preferred a contactless check in. Again, overall we were happy with the stay and would stay again.

Amazing!
We absolutely loved this camp! We are hoping to be able to book it for our anniversary in October. We had sun every day, the lake was about a mile away which was a 2 minute drive, having the park pass and the ability to take the children to the lake was a blessing! We brought our corn hole boards/horseshoes and played baseball in the field. Could not have asked for a quieter or more beautiful cabin and property!

Perfect getaway
This property was super clean, the beds were very comfy! This camp had everything we needed and then some. The lake was right down the road, I will note due to covid they are not renting kayaks so bring your own. Grab a map of the park at the rangers station, we a little difficulty navigating due to not many signs. I highly recommend this place. We will most likely return in the future. Thanks!!

Not what was expected, property not ready for tenants
The following items are only a handful of the issues we experienced. For the Price, this property was vastly underwhelming! --Trash was not picked up for total stay ~12 days --no picnic table on site --fuse box in the crawl space was not up to code --Entire property was cluttered and did not have a "clean" feel --Window Sills had dead bugs in them --no fire extinguisher on property- a must for a tenant with 3 children --Toilet and shower often clogged --No hose outside-- we would like to have used the fire pit more but with no water source i didn't feel comfortable --No door to "master" BR- also was often hottest room in the house Additionally, --The check in process was with a 3rd party--neighbor down the street, --my repeated attempts to cancel and move properties during my stay were ignored; until after I left, claiming that my multiple requests via app and Email were not seen. --Location: not near (walking distance) the lake or any hiking trails, as depicted in the pictures. I expected a partial refund due to the items above and the owner did not even consider it.

Cozy, comfortable, quiet getaway!
We loved this rental and will definitely be back! It's a perfect place to get away from it all. The yard is huge with lots of room for our dogs to run free. We enjoyed evening campfires and gazing at the stars. Mt. Blue State Park is just a few minutes down the road and there are lots of places to hike in the area!
