"We stayed here when we first arrived in Mumbai and enjoyed the property and staff so much, we booked again on our return after touring south India. They just did some facade renovations that came out great in a historic building. Rooms either have attached bathroom or shared hostel type and both settings were clean with hot water. A/C in both rooms was working great. Rooms were both clean for check in. There’s a nice balcony with tables overlooking a busy street to just take in daily life....

My room had stains on the bed, on the walls, around the bathroom. They used this really strong chemical pesticide for the roaches (gross) that smelled so bad of chemicals. "I stayed at the Oberoi two times in a two week period upon arrival and departure in India. The first stay was the perfect landing into the country after a 23 hour journey. "Wonderful staff. Room was a bit dated and older. One has to step in and out of a bathtub for a shower. Room where I was is noisy. Apparently the nearby room ending with 01 on each floor is a corner suite which attracts a bigger part of guests than a bigger army of workers. AVOID being near 01 on every floor!"
