4 season cottages, with "bonus room" and golf cart included. This cottage has the only fenced in garden in Seaglass Village. It is tastefully decorated, with bright pops of color. It has a fully stocked kitchen and an outdoor grill. It is conveniently located near the family pool and kiddy pool, but only a short drive away in the golf cart to the Clubhouse (18+). Owner lied
We were supposed to have a golf cart on property for the length of our stay. It was there but died after we got half way to clubhouse. Others in the area told us the owner knew it didn’t work but didn’t fix it. We ended up pushing it back after it died on the way to club house which put my husband in er with back issues. Property manager said owner replaced batteries and called others trouble makers. Common sense said they didn’t replace battery. Clubhouse was supposed to be open, all locked up. Found out from another staying there we had to all the way around back of building to get to pool. Everything that I brought up, I felt was blown off as false

Family vacation
Perfect location for an adult vacation, close to beach, shops, dining and local attractions. Seaglass village amenities were enjoyable- adult only pool and clubhouse especially nice.

Lovely little beach cottage
We really enjoyed our stay at Seaglass Village. The cottage was super cute and well appointed. Beds were comfy and everything was as described. I would definitely recommend.

Great location, needs better cleaning
Lots of housekeeping issues, unorganized cabinets, dirty drawers, broken wine glass set back in cabinet, dirty carpet/rugs and both sofas (white), had stains. Blood stain on one sofa pillow. Shower liner was also not clean (makeup?), all along top and ends. Tv's not programmed one in kitchen had no cable connected, Wi-Fi had to be factory reset, so no Wi-Fi until 2nd day. Bed was very uncomfortable and squeaked every time you moved. Super cute decor, and well stocked unit, but cleaning and maintenance issues were very disappointing.

Expected better
I'm in the area about twice a year to visit family so I was really hoping this would end up being my go to place. The place was cute and clean but had quite a few issues. None of which would prevent me from coming back per say but it won't be my first choice. First the bunk bed was so shaky my son was afraid to sleep in it so he had to sleep on the couch. On the upside, the maintenance guy came out the next morning and fixed it Second there was no heat in the bonus room, but again someone came out the next day to fix it. Lastly, the dishwasher was full and there were wet towels in the washer. I felt like I was at home having to do chores as soon as I got there. In addition, the tea kettle was full of water which makes me wonder how long it had been sitting there. Kind of gross. So again nothing horrible, just enough small stuff to make me look somewhere else first.

The place was absolutely adorable. It provided everything that you needed for an enjoyable stay.
Overall the cottage was great. I had 2 concerns. The first was the moldy shower curtain. I went to the Dollar Store up the road and bought a shower liner so I could remove the moldy one. Second, we had problems connecting to the internet all weekend but a young man did come out to assist us with the problem. Other than these 2 issues, everything was wonderful. One suggestion for future renters is to tell them that the separate living room has an electric heater in it. We were unaware of that initially—-until I went to the office to address the WiFi issue. Thanks for making your place available for our vacation. Would definitely stay there again if traveling to Maine.

Not a great stay
The property itself was excellent. However, it was missing a dvd player, the cable did not work on any of the three tv's. There was no light in the bedroom or the porch. Getting hold of a staff member at the property was a nightmare. I had to leave messages on the voicemail for the front desk. I purchased a dvd player to watch movies, was contacted by a member of the staff, and advised that they purchased a dvd player which will be installed upon returning to the property. I returned the dvd player which I purchased, returned to the property to find that there was in fact no dvd player installed at the property. A three hundred dollar fee was added to the cost of my stay, which was not advertised. No where on the HomeAway site did it indicate that the clubhouse was closed for the season. Very disappointing.
