"We really enjoyed our stay on Main St. Marlene was a great host! We were very close to the charming town of Wellsboro. We spent the afternoon exploring the shops ate at the Roost and took in a movie at the Arcadia Theatre. Also, got to hike at the Pa Grand Canyon. The home had everything we needed. The only exception was that you have to bring your own supplies such as towels and sheets. "

"The house is very centrally located to a lot of attractions in the area. Interior space is ample enough for a large extended family. We really enjoyed our stay and say thanks to the host for the hospitality. Would definitely stay there again. "

"The photographs in the listing barely do justice to this place. And calling it a cabin is something of a understatement. It was very comfortable with a lot of light and very spacious. Well appointed with all the necessities. It was a great base for our weekend of hiking and I hope to come here again next year. The property manager was helpful and responsive. Overall, we have no complaints but only compliments."

"Driveway by the cabin was very muddy and wet making entry a mess. Suggest more crushed stone - especially near the back entrance. No mat at the front door. Suggest adding one either inside or outside. Linens smelled too much of a laundry soap or dryer substance. It was extremely annoying. Suggest not using any product that has added fragrance when washing or drying the linens. Bathroom sink very very slow to drain. Addressed by previous communication. "One of the most comfortable and well-appointed rentals I've ever stayed in. But if it's hot, like it was, bring a fan if you're hanging around the house in the afternoon as there is no A/C in the open living areas. Otherwise - an excellent and very comfortable rental."

The location is perfect as it's right on Pine Creek and the rail trail. It's such a beautiful and peaceful area. We appreciated all of the amenities provided by the host, especially the firewood. "Should mention spiral staircase. Listing of stores, hospitals, etc. is an excellent idea."

"Loved the location and property itself. Close enough to things to do yet far enough away. Cozy cabin with plenty of amenities. My only recommendation would be to get a new roku remote (two buttons were extremely hard to work) and clean the grill, it did not work for us - there was propane but the lines needed cleaned. Neither of those bothered us during the stay though and we plan to return. ❤️"

We used this property as a jumping off point to explore the trails of the Susquehannock state forest and were not at all disappointed. The property owner is kind and helpful and quickly answered a number of questions that I asked via the VRBO messenger app. We will defiantly be returning to explore even more of the beautiful wilderness in this area and...

"Classic old charm....and I mean lots and loads of charm. Decent free breakfast and on site dinning. In center of village so walking about is a must. We visited to view the stars at Cherry Springs which is 45 minutes away. The rooms are small compared to most hotels and our bed was a bit soft for me but just right for my partner. I will gladly take a smaller room just to stay at this hotel. The staff is soo friendly and helpful for directions and recommendations. Place gets a 10 ."

perfect house, great location

"This cabin was one of the best rentals we have ever stayed in. It was clean, cozy, comfortable, and so very conveniently located near the hiking/biking trails. The park like setting of the backyard was very relaxing and enjoyable. There is some road noise however, but it didn't bother us. There are a couple great restaurants down the road, and Wellsboro is 10 minutes away for lots of restaurant choices. Communication with the owner was easy and fast. We loved this rental home!"
