Quiet Private Cabin in the woods near fishing, hiking, skiing,ORV,snow trails

Updated 3 bed 2 bath cabin. Really a home but is a cabin for me. Great area nestled right in the Manistee forest but close to everything. Trail system right down the road, tippy dam and Caberfae both less than 13 minutes away. Manistee is 18 miles to the west and Cadillac just a little father to the East. Close to all the rivers and hot spots around these great area.

Cabin has blackout curtains, completely updated, nest thermostats, air conditioning and starlink internet which is rare in this area and the fastest around here. Located in the Manistee Forest near prime fishing, hunting and trails. The cabin is nestled amongst trees, providing a serene and secluded atmosphere. Inside, you will find a cozy living room with a wood pellet stove, perfect for warming up after a day of outdoor activities. The fully equipped kitchen offers all the amenities you need to prepare delicious meals. Upstairs, the bedrooms are tastefully decorated and offer comfortable beds for a restful night's sleep. The surrounding area is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts, with endless opportunities for fishing, hunting, and exploring the scenic trails. Whether you're seeking adventure or simply looking to relax in nature, this cabin is the perfect getaway.

Garage is not available as we keep our personal items there. Pole barn is available for an additional fee if required but will remain locked unless previously arranged. Per VRBO policy we disclose our exterior cameras only (nothing inside ). IT is a rental in a rural area so we have cameras outside for security when not there. We have 1 in the back yard, 1 facing driveway, 1 facing front of driveway in front of garage and 1 facing the garage and barn (4 outside cameras only). Thank you . Cute cabin in the woods!
The cabin was great!! Geographically, its a great location near beaches and trails, but some of the neighboring houses were a little sketchy.

My husband and I wanted a mini vacation to write on our novels, and enjoy some nature scenery with our husky. This location was beautiful, peaceful and full of ammenities that made our stay an easy transition from home.

This property was the perfect getaway!! The cabin had everything we needed. The home was clean and comfortable. Beds were comfy and so was the furniture in other areas. Host Tammy was always on top of any questions. We will definitely be going back ! Oh and the dogs loved it too😊

Great stay
The house and the property was perfect for our vacation. We came out to kayak the big Manistee and the Pine river. The house very close to both rivers. Excellent location. The house very clean and updated. I think this was the only vacation rental I've stayed at that TV's in all the bedrooms, which very nice. The host very accommodating. Leaving a nice gift basket and firewood. I'll definitely be staying here again. We loved our stay

Peaceful Property Highly Recommend

R & R Weekend
We were looking for a couple of peaceful days and we found it. The cabin was wonderful, updated, cozy, and so nice and clean. There’s lots to do outdoors and we made a short trek into Manistee to enjoy the lakeshore. Tammy, the hostess, was so great to work with, too. I would gladly return.

Perfect hide away spot
Such a great spot for us to get away from chaos so peaceful for us all lots of space to park the truck and trailer and easy to access the trails for riding. The town is very quaint and easy access to anything you want to do. We will come back for sure. Thank you Miller family for sharing your spot.

Cute Cabin! We'll be back!
We were very comfortable and couldn't be happier about the location--close to hiking, biking, ORV trails, canoeing/kayaking and fishing. We just loved that the cabin was centrally located to the Manistee National Forest! The hosts were extremely welcoming. Everything was as advertised. Highly recommend!!!

This place is DELIGHTFUL!
Cannot go on enough about all of the wonderful attributes of this property! Beautiful, CLEAN cabin…feels secluded but only a very short drive to a major road. Easy drive to Manistee. Plenty of space to park our boat. Fully stocked kitchen… Excellent internet service… Property owner so kind and responds quickly to messages… A+++ vacation and we hope we can come back soon!

Beautiful Cabin!!
Very clean, amazing cabin in the woods. Has all the comforts of home. My only issue was there was a plastic mattress cover under the sheets, which made it very uncomfortable for sleep. There was great communication from Tammy, I highly recommend!

Very relaxing!
We chose this area for skiing, but the weather did not cooperate. We enjoyed going to Manistee for movies, restaurants and bowling. Property was beautiful and comfortable, very well stocked kitchen! We had one issue with hot water, and the owner had the hot water tank replaced within about 4 hours, very impressed with the responsiveness. Would definitely come back, hopefully for more snow next time! HA!

Awesome Property!
Everything was super clean and tidy. Had everything we needed and more! We brought our two dogs with us, and they loved the yard to run in. The town itself is not the best. But the cabin location is quiet and secluded. Close to the Big M mountain bike trails, which is why we came here. The host had tons of magazines and books on mountain biking, so we felt right at home! Just hit a few stores in a different town maybe 😉 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Quick Trip North
Very happy with our stay! The cabin was just as described and the owner was great to work with. I didnt realize until after we booked that the cabin was pet friendly. We are dog owners but were not traveling with ours this trip. I don't typically book pet friendly cabins as they tend to appear as pets have been there and I dont like that. This was not the case with this property at all! It was very clean. Aside from the pet gate and adorable basket of dog toys you would never know this cabin was pet friendly. I was very impressed. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need and it was very quiet and peaceful! We will definitely stay again!

Manistee Gem
My friend and I were looking for a place close to Big M for a weekend of mountain biking in the forest, and this cabin turned out to be the perfect place to stay. It was quiet and comfortable and had everything we needed! Tammy is an incredible host; you can tell she has put much thought into ensuring guests have everything they need. The kitchen is very well-appointed, the beds are comfy, and the living room is a great place to put your feet up and relax for some evening screen time. Added benefits were having AC that worked really well on a hot summer day, with individual AC units in the upstairs bedrooms to help ensure a good night's sleep. A bonus is that this cabin also has great drinking water right from the tap, unlike many places in the area where that is not the case. The internet worked great if you need to catch up on work, or for streaming your favorite shows on the flat screen. We'll be back next year and look forward to another stay at the Cabin. The cabin is a sturdy lad and very well-built; I can see this holding up to any kind of weather and not being phased! Would be a great option any time of the year. Thanks, Tammy!!
