"Loved the cherry forest, the local restaurant, the open family space, the hot tub, just everything was wonderful. The only difficulty was the steep slope of the upstairs bedrooms which made for quite a few head bumps. Also the slippery stairs (watch out!). "Ruhige Ferienwohnung in sehr ländlicher Lage. Geweckt wird man durch das Läuten der Kirchenglocken und Hahnengekrähe. Aus der Wohnküche schaut man auf die Kirche im alten Dorf.Der Lahn-Radweg verläuft fast direkt am Haus. Vor dem Haus steht ein Automat, in dem man sich mit Kaffee, Eiern, Wurst, Milch, Getränken und Suppen aus lokaler Produktion versorgen kann. Schän für einige wenige Tage."

"Trotz knarrenden Betten, zugigem Schlafzimmer, kaltem Bad und gräßlicher Bank in der Küche war die Laune bestens. Die Frage nach einer Mietminderung stellte sich dennoch. Zumal es an Besteck fehlte."

"Frank welcomed us and had wine and a set of local hiking maps available for us. The drive up was a bit intimidating, but view was worthwhile and Frank made sure he showed us the easier way to use for the duration of our stay. We were vacationing with 3 families and we could walk to each other’s local home stays to visit and enjoy each other."

"The hotel looks like a tiny hamlet of old farm buildings which have recently been renovated. A definite rustic feel to it. Parking is 100 m in front of the hamlet. Hotels.com failed to list this hotel as having a restaurant. As such I ate junk food on the way to the hotel, only to find the perfect restaurant for me. I made space for a delicious salmon salad and wonderful glass of Riesling! The room was good and I slept very well. The only missing utility which I always need as a business traveller, was a desk. I suspect, this would also effect females needing a dressing table. I was shown an alternative room with a tiny glass table. Anyway, it didn't spoil my stay. Wonderful staff. Not too expensive. Great hotel and I would definitely stay again."
