Welcome to our comfort chalet on the IJsselmeer, right on a canal, only 20 meters from Lake de Groote Vliet, in a park on the IJsselmeer.

Free WiFi, free fishing even without a fishing license, boat rentals in the park, numerous water sports, wind and kite surfing 200m away, wonderful historical area on the green IJsselmeer.

The ideal central starting point for beautiful excursions of all kinds whether on foot, by bike, car or boat. Go shopping with the boat :)

Chalet Livslyst, holiday on the IJsselmeer

Directly on the IJsselmeer and with the proximity to the old and historic harbor towns of Medemblik, Enkhuizen and Hoorn (we are located in the so-called historical triangle), the young and modern town of Lelystad with the famous Bataviastad outlet center, the cosmopolitan city of Amsterdam or the North Sea with its wide beaches the park is an ideal starting point for all kinds of excursions, whether on foot, by bike, car or boat.

On the green shores of the IJsselmeer you will find exactly what you are looking for: rest, relaxation and yet plenty of variety -
a paradise for water sports enthusiasts such as B. Kitesurfers, windsurfers, sailors, paddlers ;-) Cyclists, leisure or sports anglers, nature lovers and especially for children, because the water is very shallow and not salty!

The fishing boat and swimming lake De Groote Vliet, about 20 meters from the house, rounds off the offer.

The North Sea with its beautiful beaches is also ideal for swimming and hiking. For example the town of Petten with its wonderful newly created huge beach or Camperduin, where a new lagoon has been created where children can swim safely, or Callantsoog, the fastest-reached place on the North Sea, can be seen from the park in about 30 minutes reached, the other places mentioned only need a few minutes longer driving time. The Amstelmeer can be reached in about 20 minutes, from there it is only a stone's throw to the mudflats.
Maybe you would also like to rent a boat, because boat tours on the surrounding canals and lakes are always a special experience and possible up to 4PS without a license! You may also want to get to know a new golf course. We would be happy to help you organize a wonderful holiday with the appropriate highlights.
Amsterdam can be reached by car in around 45 minutes.
The famous Walibi amusement park in Biddinghuizen is about an hour's drive from the park and can be reached via the impressive Houtribdijk, which separates the IJsselmeer and Markermeer. A drive over at sunset towards WH is breathtakingly beautiful.
