"The sea view room we had was excellent. The coffee was very strong and only small cups and there was no way to make tea. We reported the safe was shut and she said someone would come to unlock it, but they didn’t. We didn’t bother to report it again as we felt it was quite safe. We couldn’t snorkel as it was too windy. We did walk to Macabuca Tiki bar and grill and snorkelled from the dive shop ladders. It wasn’t as windy there."

"Rose the owner met us immediately upon arrival. She provided a tour of the property and got us all checked in. The AC works quickly, bedding was amazing. They provide beach towels, chairs and more for all to use. The pool was enjoyable with plenty of chairs. I would recommend a car so you can visit local beaches and restaurants. Amazing stay away from seven mile beach that I highly recommend "

"While the Shangrila was off the beaten path, it has its own beauty, and it is easy access to much of what the Cayman Islands offers.Rose and Athena were extraordinarily friendly and helpful.It would be hard to find a warmer, friendlier atmosphere.Thank you for a memorable stay."

"Great host, accommodated our early check-in request. The place was very clean and well maintained. We didn't rent a car and relied on the public transportation which exceeded the expectations. Bus stop was less than half a block away, never waited more than 10m, even over the weekends. 15m ride to the Governor's beach, no left-side driving or parking hassle, hop on and hop off for $2.50 per ride, you can't beat that. The are feels very safe, we enjoyed walking around."
