"I would say overall that the property is okay or average. For two adults, both of whom are between six feet tall and over, it felt a little cramped. The cleanliness is average due to the fact that some of dressers and tables were a little rickety or had stains on them when we came in. No bugs of any kind, however, which was great. There are plenty of pots and pans, kitchen utensils for cooking, however there was no cookie or baking sheet so you'd have to use tin foil or buy a cooking pan....

"Always love my stays at these apartments! Feels so homely, easy location for my work and very spacious. Spotlessly clean every time & private parking right outside."

"The apartment was beautiful, warm, comfortable and very well situated, however the washing machine didn't work - we were there for 13 days over Christmas - and the writing/figures on the oven and microwave were all but erased making their use a guessing game. There wasn't a complete set of cutlery, only one tea towel, no oven gloves and although we did virtually no cooking in the apartment we noticed a lack of utensils necessary for those who would cook."

"The property is well situated - Plantation Road is a lovely little street with one of the best pubs in Oxford as one of its jewels. This property would be perfect for those wanting to explore Oxford proper. Further, because the two bedrooms are subterranean they would remain cool in the summers in our opinion. "

"We were extremely impressed with the cottage. It had everything we needed and more to make it a very comfortable four night stay with 4 adults, one child and one dog. It was an excellent base for visiting the Cotswolds"

"12 of us stayed at this beautiful house for 3 nights to see in the new year together, we had the most wonderful time. The house was perfect for all ages, there was something for everyone. We particularly liked that we could sit together in the living area and eat meals together as there was a dining table big enough for all of us. The games room and pool were perfect additions. "We had a wonderful 2 night stay at Ostlers. Excellent location very close to the centre of Burford. All of the check in admin was very smooth, and had super communication from the host Steve. Some great local recommendations also. The house was spacious yet cosy, and very well appointed with kitchen utensils/ board games etc. Would highly recommend staying, and could have easily stayed longer and explored the local area more. "This was the perfect size and location for our short stay in Oxford. There is a bus stop directly outside of your door and it takes you right into town. Also super easy to catch a bus right back to where you’re staying! The host was extremely helpful and responsive. It also sits in a nice walkable neighborhood. Highly recommend! "

Smart convenient and comfortable hotel

"Great location- half way point from wales to south coast. Lovely reception, friendly easy check in. Nice room very comfortable. Only problem was the noise - a strange bit loud humming all the time - like machinery. Also the sink doesn't drain very fast at all - maybe a blockage somewhere - so water in the basin all the time. But all in all it's a good place to stay- easy parking and near Asda and the cinema too- both of which we took advantage of "

Everything you need and no hard sell.

"This is a budget motel close to the M40 motorway. I've stayed many times along with my dog, for whom I pay £20 per stay extra. There's also a new £5.00 per night parking fee. If you don't mind the drive into Oxford, you'll pay much less than a hotel or guesthouse within the city and you'll have plenty of parking near the front door. Sadly, smokers outside that door give the place a dodgy look which is not deserved by what's inside."

"We had a nice stay. The reception and restaurant were very nice. Our room was pretty clean but it felt tired. There was chipped paint around the drinks area and the paintwork in the bathroom was damaged. The pool was nice. Changing rooms were clean. Breakfast was very good. All the staff were lovely. "
